*** Sorry, the giveaway is now closed ***
Hello, hello, hello!
I have to confess that at 4pm today I hadn't actually made anything to give away. It's not that I don't love and appreciate you all and want to shower you in gifts, it's more that my brain is shrinking and what is left is so choc-a-block full of Christmas, work and all the things the kids have to do in the next couple of weeks, that I just completely forgot!
So to join in the fun, I whipped up this little scrappy token of my affection, or something like that, which perhaps you may like the chance to win.
It measures up just shy of 6" square minus pompoms, all Cotton & Steel, and filled with poly-stuffing, and you may even see your way to sticking pins in it.
If this is your first time visiting, welcome, I know you won't have time to have a look about when there are so many other giveaways to enter, but it would be nice if you came back on a normal day too.
This giveaway will be open until 10pm GMT on Friday 12th December; open internationally, but if you are a No Reply Blogger, I will not be able to track you down, so please leave your email address in your comment(s), or I will re-draw, using Random.org.
Two chances, so 2 comments only please…
Comment i) How many Christmas presents do you still have to make? NB. you are aiming to make me feel better! If you don't celebrate, just tell me how much you are laughing at the craziness of the December panic-sewing!
Comment ii) Bonus for blog followers - just tell me how you follow!
Good luck everyone xxx
I have the binding to finish on a table runner and then I'm done.

ReplyDeleteSo I have only one present made and that is because a long time ago I decided to give a quilt that is done to my sister. But I have all the rest to make/buy/think up. All of them. I would love that little pincushion with monster pom poms.
ReplyDeleteI've only got a couple left. I think i'll make more handmade gifts during the next year. Thanks! Love the pom poms :)
ReplyDeleteThree more projects to go.

ReplyDeleteYour pincushion is super cute and I'd love to add it to my collection. I have one little gift left to make before Christmas. I confess that I have a quilt I've been working on for years for my father and stepmother and I'm afraid another Christmas will come and go without my finishing it. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteI have two zipper pouches to make for my girls.
ReplyDeleteMy work and all our extracurricular activities have been too crazy for me to sew presents this Christmas. Sad face. Though I'm still trying to finish a crochet blanket which was supposed to be a gift to myself for winter, but it's now summer in Australia!
ReplyDeleteI think 3...and I'm buying the rest.
ReplyDeleteSIL, son, nephew x 3, girl next door = six more to sew before christmas, unless something else hijacks the list.
ReplyDeleteI follow you in all the usual places.
ReplyDeleteI hoped to make a couple quilts, but it's not looking so good! Love your pin cushion!
ReplyDeleteNew follower with bloglovin. You make some awesome things!

ReplyDeleteWell, I have a minimum of 3 pairs of child sized pajama pants to sew, a size 18-24m button down shirt, a hat to finish knitting, 2 dishcloths to knit (minimum), some hanging dishtowels to sew, and that's just what I can think of at 7:15 am on a day when I'm not feeling well and stayed home from work...

I have anywhere from four to infinity presents that I still have to make. I need to finish the gifts for immediate family (4 left but I have a list of things that I'd like to finish in time to have wrapped under the tree for the kids. The furry animal themed winter hats is the big item I definitely want finished. With them being young I doubt they would particularly care if the rest of it is completed after the holidays. ;)

ReplyDeleteThis year I am making 4 christmas presents - we don't exchange with anyone other than a couple friends and my mom so it makes it easier than sewing/buying a bazillion for everyone! :)

ReplyDeleteoh my goodness... like hundred!! or so it feels! my list of to makes grows daily but my completed projects are not keeping up!
ReplyDeleteI need to purchase at least four more, and finish making at least three. I have the goal of being done at the beginning of December, but that only happened once. We're totally going to do last minute shopping this year, and I don't like it!
ReplyDeleteFollow you on Bloglovin, love it!
ReplyDeleteAbout 6 dishcloths to go! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate in the common sense. Presents and decorations aren't a big deal here and we don't have that stress. But I'm not laughing at folks scrambling - often, I find that I wish they didn't have the stress but am impressed at their fervor in providing gifts. And I most admire the hearts behind those who make gifts for their loved ones. I don't make them specifically for Christmas but I make them as often as I can for other reasons. Otherwise, I'm going to miss singing in a Christmas concert this year - I love that more than anything else and logistics prevented our normal concert from happening this year.

ReplyDeleteOpps no handmade gifts this year...broken leg instead! :)
