Obligatory post!

Guess what, someone-else has an Accuquilt Go! Baby to give away!!  This time the lovely Sarah over at FairyfaceDesigns is offering us a chance to win one.

Law of averages says that some day soon I will get the call as the last Go!-less soul, and then Accuquilt will be able to start making money from me by enticing me with dies.  But then I wake up and I am still trying to win one when I am 60!

Tonight I am going to try to sew in a zip... wish me luck!

Go! Baby Go! Baby Go!...

OK, by my reckoning most of you will not have need for a competition to win an Accuquilt Go! Baby cutter, as you already have one.  But if, like me, you have failed to win one of the 372 other competitions you have entered in the past, here's another try courtesy of Lynne at Lily's Quilts!

Obviously I would prefer you to leave this one for me, (especially if you are named Angela!) as my children are getting hungry and have no clean clothes as I am too busy entering said competitions and cutting my fabric sooooooooo slowly by hand!!

It's a secret...

This evening I played my part in the top secret Project 51.

A group of us are making blocks following the super Starry Eyed quilt pattern by talented Angela of Fussy Cut and the Farmer's Wife QAL.

I wasn't sure I would get them done in one sitting, but having got most of the cutting completed yesterday, (oh I dream of having an Accuquilt Go! Baby), I managed to get from this...

...to this, in just a couple of hours...

The finished pictures are suffering from what is known as 'dusk'!  I will hopefully get some sunnier shots tomorrow.

They are super blocks to make, and I hope they are going to make someone smile xx
