An 11am phone call request from our estate agent for us to show yesterday's viewer around again at 3pm... 4 nervous hours later an even more anxious lady, her partner, son, sister and brother-in-law all came round, and within minutes I had been told that she too had woken with a panic that someone else would get in there first and get an offer accepted! About an hour later, having negotiated ourselves, we have now got the house 'under offer' for the price we had hoped for! Lovely lady wasn't even scared off when the car of unruly under 6s arrived home on full volume!
We then got straight on the phone to make a formal offer on the one we want, so we now have to wait until Monday to finish the deal, but that just does not feel as stressful. Oh how relieved are we!!??
So in a more relaxed state, I have quilted both twin quilts and we've eaten a huge Chinese takeaway this evening, and I did not care about threads on the carpet or the smelly food!
Now it's time for some chocolate...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with the house!
ReplyDeleteI've just had morning tea out with B.B., my Mum, Sister and Niece - B.B. loved her new Ballerina Bag and Tee Shirt and along with the tee shirt I popped in a board book version of Angelina Ballerina which of course we all had to read it about three times:-)
Some afternoon sewing for me now and mmmmmm---take out Chinese sounds good!!
