The days all merge into one...

This Half Term has been hard.  I don't know if it has been the bitterly cold weather that has stopped us venturing out to the park, or if the kids really really do actually want to kill each other; but I can't wait to get back to work for a bit.  Just a little bit mind, my day off, alone, will be wonderful!

So at some point this week, I am not sure which day, I caught up with the Lucky Stars - February - BOM.  I am going to carry on with the low volume-solids combo, and hope I don't run out before the end of the year...

They are starting to look good together already...

Today we did venture out for a little while in the snow flurries and ended up at The Range looking for outdoor boots for Cubs; no boots, yet I came away with a couple of cushion pads, some wooden stamps and washi tape; it's a good job we don't go there often.

I also started some top secret makes this afternoon, so I may be a little more vague than usual over weekend xxx

  3. Lovely blocks. I think Feb half term is a tough holiday, kids tired after a busy few weeks following on from a busy Christmas time and the weather not warm enough to get out and run off steam. Hope your weekend is good x

  5. Your blocks look great - I am crushing on your backgrounds… I still haven't sewn a single one but I have printed out the templates. Does that count as progress? lol. :-)

  6. Buggerbuggerbugger! They look amazing... I've been sorting out exactly the same fabric plans for mine. Oh well, lets be matchymatchymates! I'm sure yours'll be nicer anyway.

  8. Love those blocks, they look fab together. My half term has been spent freezing to death at my brothers house, wishing I was back home in my toasty house (which I am now!)

  9. Actually this one hasn't been so bad for me - we have gone out a lot, so I have been less stressed about the almost constant demand for screen time when we are at home. I also went to work the first two days (leaving DH in charge) so it hasn't felt too long. Normally by this point, it doesn't matter whether they want to kill each other, because I am certainly tempted! Hope you have a more relaxing weekend.

  12. Love the solids and LV stars, gorgeous. So you're claiming random and vague in the same week, it has been a bad one, there is something about a little bit of solitude which is blissful! Good Luck getting through the weekend, it's not too long until Monday, well sort of. : )

  17. I believe there's some internal instinct that stops parents killing their kids, but I'm rather glad I've never had to find out ;o)
