So Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone - I won't be blogging on Monday as I will be away with the Brownies, so hopefully I will be back and enjoying the peace and quiet on Tuesday evening. Wish me luck!
Badges.........I still have nightmares about badges!! Only when your about to set off to brownies or beavers do they mention the BADGES. Well done. Sarah
ReplyDeleteI've always hated sewing badges on uniforms. I was a scout leader for 30 years and when I finished I hoped I would never sew another badge on, no such luck, my husband is still a leader and needs badges sewing on a new uniform!
ReplyDeleteawesome badges! have fun :-D
ReplyDeleteYou must be mad! Have s fab time! (I'm sure when I was a brownie we had to sew on our own badges!)
ReplyDeleteWell done! On camp blankets mine are always machine stitched on - and I'm still not a fan of hand stitching them on uniforms that then get grown out of. I think that the Brownies have it right when they put them on a sash that can grow with the girl! Have fun on Monday!
ReplyDelete5 years of badges x2 people - think that will take me a while! Good luck on camp

ReplyDeleteMy husband is a scout leader, and both my son and daughter are scouts. So yes we have individual piles of badges in various rooms, not my problem though, they all sew their own on....... eventually, and usually just before a camp.
ReplyDeleteGoodness!! you did well, I remember that job so well :{
ReplyDeleteO no, I do have a pile waiting😕
