Going round the bend...

Apologies for the lateness of this post, I have been busily sewing up my Cosmo Cricket blocks, so I don't have anything I can show you this evening, as I don't want to spoil the 'birthday surprise'!  Having discovered Kerry's method of sewing Drunkard's Path pieces, there has been no stopping me!

I have sewn 50 corners so far and not a single puck up!  If you fear the curve, please have a look at Kerry's video (is that an old-fashioned word, I forget!).

And whilst you are there, do check out Kerry's first paper-piecing pattern that she has for sale in her etsy shop - I totally love it!  In fact I have just bought it and I am going to put it straight to the top of my Winter Sewing List!   How wonderful if this!?

At the risk of turning this post into a big fat bit of Kerry-love, every time we chat, I end up with this song in my head!!  Dare you to listen and NOT be singing it for the next 3 days!

  4. I'm going to soon do my first DP blocks and I'm a bit scared - with this awesome video and Susan's tute, I will have to find a method that works for me. Right? I can't wait to see yours :)

  9. You found Tim Minchin! Isn't he funny? And so clever! Gosh Hadley, I'm looking through your blog and have noticed that we have very similar tastes in fabric...I have some that you have, and I also have your blog background pattern in fabric and used it to make some little coin purses for my Etsy shop. You have been so busy sewing - everything you have made looks lovely :)
