Stitch Tease buddies please do not go and get all worried about everything I have stuck in my Stitch Tease folder - everything has ended up in there, not all of it should be, but for now I'm not telling you which!
I used to love using flickr to search out inspiring quilts, blocks and fabric combos, I even tried earlier, but it was so shockingly slow and annoying, I gave up. What a shame. I probably met a lot of you guys on flickr; end of an era eh?
So anyway, I think I am decided… well, probably.
Flickr shot itself in the foot. They keep trying to get me to pay for another year as my card details changed so they can't do an auto renewal. ha! Nothing on that inspiration board scares me - yet.

ReplyDeleteah now, I have only lurked on pintrest, never pinned. Took me long enough to work out flickr never mind instagram. And ravelry is just too immense.
ReplyDeleteI really like pinterest as I think having the different boards makes it easier to organise all of those pins! And there are so many great things always coming up that I might not have have found - although that does mean a never ending to do list...

ReplyDeleteI still use Flickr but I suspect I'm one of the few who only uses it on a laptop (rather than on a phone or tablet) so the experience isn't as bad as it could be for me (if anything, Flickr has improved slightly in recent months, particularly after they made it almost unusable a couple of years ago! It's still not back to its 'fighting weight' but it's better than it was...). I like Pinterest but find the sheer number of photos overwhelming. That, and the fact that a quick five minute look always seems to turn into a half hour session!

ReplyDeleteI never joined Flickr. I was going to earlier this year then read everyone getting frustrated with it, needing a yahoo account, needing to pay so never bothered. Got on the Instagram bandwagon instead. Haven't joined Pinterest coz I know there would go another four hours out of every day!
