In a week or so, Jennifer will be sending out mammoth parcels for Round Two of the
Rainbow Charm Swap to the 56 person-strong crew! If that wasn't enough, I have also signed up for Kati's
Color Wheel Charm Swap too!
In anticipation, and inspired by the charms I received in Round One, I have been pinning away to find the elusive rainbow of my dreams. So far I am still undecided...
... but what's the hurry?
I've been doing the same! I have a small collection of rainbow quilt photos, but still can't decide which to go with. It's a great problem to have, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that I will be the one holding everyone up! My fabric still hasn't arrived to send back to jennifer! Perhaps I could send it to you for the Colour Wheel Swap?! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI have a rainbow board on Pinterest too, but no rainbow blocks (everybody say ahhhh) I am definitey signing up for the next swap :-) i really like the top photo, and have just seen that D9P tops can have a bit of an optical illusion thing going on. It didn't look like a D9P, but as if there were blocks on top of blocks. I'm off to stalk your Pinterest :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous. I've been wanting to have a go at colourwash for a while, but it's still on the 'to do' list! Jxo
ReplyDeleteTalking about rainbows makes me think of curves - Would a rainbow half single girl quilt work? Or fans? Dresden plates? May not be your thing though!
ReplyDeleteLove the hexie one!
Love those options Hadley. I don't know what I am making yet either... will be so fun seeing what everyone decides!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely - I love the subway map one the best I think...or maybe the hexies!
ReplyDeleteoooh loving the second last option! Glad I got me into Kati's swap :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat, you got into both?! No fair lol Just cos SOME of us had to go to work when they opened ;o) I'll just keep hoarding my charms from the first swap and stewing whilst I wait for another to make enough stuff for a quilt... :oD
ReplyDeleteI really love them all. That's going to be a hard choice.
ReplyDeleteBeats me how you pick one o' them!!! They're all amazing.
ReplyDeleteI missed both of these swaps! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your charms!
ReplyDeleteThere's definitely lot's of inspiration out there! :)
