It was raining, the kiddies were happily playing, so I couldn't drag out the engagement any longer. I have finally started on some, albeit easy, FWQAL blocks; the pile of fabric put aside for the nuptials was driving me crazy just sitting there waiting.
So we have my first, and least favourite Basket Weave, I think because it looks odd against the others with no white; but I will make more without or with different solids, so it will balance and fit in fine, but just not today...
Box...
Autumn Tints...
and the one I am proudest of, Calico Puzzle...
OK, so I am very late, and have at least 20 more blocks to do until I catch up, but these only took a couple of hours, so I am hoping I will be able to catch up at some point before... the end!!
I love your fabric choices! I've enjoyed watching everyone make these and it thrills me that I can now watch you!
ReplyDeleteIs that Big Ben fabric?? I feel I might be beginning to stalk your stash - as it were.........
ReplyDeleteOh the basket weave is my favourite but then I like patterns next to each other!
ReplyDeleteahhh I was wondering when you'd succumb... Lovely blocks :-)
ReplyDeleteWe knew it was coming...a QAL that you couldn't resist :) I'd agree - the first wouldn't be my favorite, but the other three are great. In a quilt, they'll all find a happy home.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. Let's hope you get more rainy days! Jxo
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful - love the fussy cutting on the calico puzzle one
ReplyDeleteyour blocks look great
ReplyDeletei love them all!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours you used, and that Box one is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely! Good luck with the Farmer's Wife! I hear she isa bit of a tyrant!
ReplyDeleteI love the fussy cutting on the Calico Puzzle - gorgeous fabric used to perfection! I think my favourite is Box but that's probably because I love the colour against the white - so fresh and clean! (And now I sound like a slogan for Cillit Bang or some other cleaning product - sorry about that!)
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric choices - and it all looks like such lovely neat work. Great stuff! Your title made me smile... I had to think about it! We always used to sing 'Ee-i-enjio'...
ReplyDeleteWell that's it, you've started now....so you've got to finish :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely color palette! Your FM quilt will rock!
ReplyDeleteCalico Puzzle is gorgeous! As are the others...
