Jolly July!

It's the first of the month, my Mum's birthday, and the first day of the holidays with all 3 children... wish me luck!  It also means I'm linking up with Lily's Quilts for Fresh Sewing Day.

July was the month I celebrated my first year of blogging, I was 'interviewed' by Rhonda, and featured in her Quilter In The Gap's podcast.  There were ballet shows and end of term, then my 'babies' left nursery in advance of starting school in September.

I managed a few finishes, including my Mum's birthday quilt and a lot of blocks.  There were lots of secrets and swapping going on, and lots of yummy fabric changing hands.

July 2011

August is likely to be a little quieter on the sewing front, with children 24/7, holidays and, fingers-crossed, sunshine and lazing in the garden to be done... but my 'Summer To Do' list isn't finished yet, so I mustn't slack too much!

  8. I love the needle book you made so much! Really excellent fabric choices. I'm winding up my summer holidays and am getting ready to go back to work so imagine there is less sewing in my future.
