Well the new phones needed new homes, so I obliged!
After one failed attempt that resulted in something only capable of holding a teeny tiny phone that I do not own (doh!), I whipped up this pair of beauties for dear hubby and I.
The 'pattern', aka random chopping and stitching, could do with a little tweeking, but they will keep the screens protected, and look pretty cool, so they will do for the short-term.
I need to start pinning all the fabulous tutorials I come across, because every time I need one, and know for sure I've seen one, I have no idea where that was. So instead, I end up floundering about and wasting fabric, and that is just not on!
Your phone cases are great! I made a separate page on my blog for inspirational tutorials. When I have spare minute and feel the need to make something new I go there! I also keep a photo there of what I made. I like having it all in the one place, rather than another website!
ReplyDeleteI do love those phone cases. i like your organisation idea for tutorials. i hate it when i see something i would love to do and then can't find it again. x
ReplyDeleteOf course with all that "chopping" you could always starting taking pictures and notes and start writing your own tutorials. Then the rest of us would know right where to go!!! Now now don't start telling me where to go Hadley...that won't do!!
ReplyDeleteThose look great Hadley! Love that fabric. Good idea with pinning tuts- I've been doing that too and have found it super helpful!
