Before I forget...

... here are Fiona's June Bee blocks...

They were made from lovely Dream On charms and a nice Disappearing Nine Patch, so no stressing!   These blocks were really fun to make and I am 'umming and arghing about if this is the way to go with my mum's quilt...

In the meantime, I received my Needle Book Swap partner details today - it's another 'secret' swap, we must post by the 30th July, but can post as soon as we are done (ie. the 29th!), so I have some serious stalking to do this evening!

To all my friends in the US of A, Happy 4th of July!

  1. I think that disappearing nine patch would be a great choice for your Mum's quilt! It is interesting enough but not TOO taxing! Good luck!

  2. Lovely blocks. I made a quillow in D9P and it was very satisfying and quick to make. Would recommend it. Jxo

  3. Disappearing 9-patch is so much fun and perfect for these fabrics!

  4. Great blocks! Dream on were a lovely range to play with :-) Just had a nosey at your summer sewing list - man alive you're practically done already! Good goin!

  5. D9P will be lovely with mum's fabric! So yo made it through the show- congratulations to your promotion to serious ballet mummy. Just think, in 14 years she can drive herself to rehearsals!

  6. you know I love a good dream on block! It's so pretty. IT looks great.

  7. I love your blocks. They're so pretty!

I can't wait to see more on your needle case. I just received my first one as a gift and LOVED it. I would like to see a few more to get inspired enough to make my own :)

  8. think that may be my favourite fabric mix so far. xx

  9. I'm late, but I think your blocks look great and they look even better sitting alonside their friends :)
    Thankyou x
