It Bee Saturday...

Today I ticked a couple of things off my monthly To Do list, namely my Bee commitments.

For Katy in this month's Stitch Tease, we are making simple 9-patch blocks which, going by the colour-specifications, she has grand plans for…

Fun, stress-free blocks, thanks bird.

I also completed the next border on Trudi's Brit Bee medallion; this is not due to move on to Sarah until until the end of August, but fearing the school holidays will not be conducive to accurate cutting and piecing, I made the most of the grey day and cool conservatory to get down to it.

Here's a tinkered-with shot of Troods' backside…

Secrecy is, after all, the name of the game.

Tomorrow, if all goes to plan, I am going to re-visit my FQR prep, and I need to do a linky post all about me, (can you think of anything more thrilling/terrifying than that!?!).  Any of you folks who are going too need to link up, as the tumbleweeds are blowing through the FQly Blog, and I don't want to scare the first-timers!!!

  2. And here is me hoping that the school holidays WILL be conducive to accurate cutting and piecing! Katy's blocks look great, and after Sarah's comment there is nothing left to say about Trudi's!!!!

  4. Katy's easy blocks this month were just what I needed. I'm so sad I won't be at FQR. I think it's going to be the best one ever.
