You're smiling now...

All set for Cub Camp in the early evening sunshine...

My poor boy, the weather forecast will wash that smile off your face by the morning I'm afraid!

Still, a rainy old weekend will hopefully give me some sewing time, every cloud and all that.  Have a good one folks x

  1. Bless him. Think of the muddy clothes to come back though.

  2. I remember collecting several grubby scouts after a wet weekend camp. Took lots of bin bags to put their muddy shoes in, and made them wear the offending items when I saw the state of their socks!! Oh Happy Days!

  3. If he's anything like my son and his friends were, the weather won't matter a bit. Mud football anyone? It will get you in training for Glastonbury.

  6. It's all character building stuff. You are not allowed to grow into an adult if you haven't spent some hideous weekend camping in the rain ;)

  10. I suspect he'll have to strip off in the back garden so you can hose him down before letting him back in the house...

  12. Aw...the optimism that it's all going to be OK if he's with his friends.
