...or even fun sewing!
I prepped all the pieces for my Sidekick Tote and earlier this evening I started the stitching...
I now have pockets, straps, darts and all the 'little bits' made; hopefully I should get it finished tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on what we get up to, especially if this weather holds out.
It was really too nice to be indoors today, so we went to our frequent haunt of the RSPB reserve, for a picnic lunch, nature trail and quiz...
Note to all... if you happen to google for an answer, perhaps against the rules, don't be surprised if "bird with a pink behind" doesn't come up with the answer and/or pictures you were expecting!
So in answer to my Instagram question on how late I could sew, 10pm, late enough, I might even get up when dear hubby does at 6.30am tomorrow, just because I can!!
You're an eager beaver! Nothing like the right motivation to get one up in the morning! I'm soooooo not a lark! Jxo
ReplyDeleteGiggling at the thought of what google may have answered !!!! I think I WONT be up at 6:30 just because I don't have to!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! Sounds like a fun day despite the dubious googling!
ReplyDeleteUp at 6:30?! That way madness lies...
ReplyDeleteSo what answer did you get?
ReplyDeleteI'm up at 06.00 every morning, just because I can't sleep. I might have to google your query just to see what comes up!
ReplyDeleteAlways amusing when my sewing hobby brings up references to hubby's hobby of birds and nature! Which RSPB reserve do you go to? It looks nice, and we could do with a change of scene.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics you've chosen for your tote. I was up at that time too. Cutting the interfacing for my Lonsdale waistband, before the rest of the family was awake! Sewing has me hooked.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day, i can only imagine what "bird" reference came up, no doubt the perv police will be onto you in due course!!! Looking forward to seeing your bag finish :o)
ReplyDeleteThat bag is going to look the business. As for your google search - mind boggling!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was still getting up at my usual time of 6.30 :S What is the bird with the pink behind then- in the non-Googled sense?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely day!! I get up at 6 every morning to give Archie his tablet and then go back to sleep for at least another 2.5 - 3 hours! Can't wait to see your new bag!
ReplyDeleteSounds great. So lets see the finished bag soon :)
ReplyDeleteexcited on seeing your sidekick tote come together, I'm sure it's going to look great! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric. Hope you had a great time in the country x
ReplyDeletelove the bird with a pink behind! My children went to a school whose acronym was 'BRA'. Enough said
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see or finish.
ReplyDeleteDare I google it? I might have to!
