Pretty In Pink...

I finished the binding on my Siblings Together quilt late last night, and had it in the washing machine before breakfast and more egg-hunting this morning...

Bound in black to frame it, and a few offcuts added to the bright pomegranate single piece backing, it sure is bright!

Simple straight line quilting parallel to the front seams means the whole thing is lovely and soft and perfect for snuggling in winter or chucking on the grass on a summer's day.  It measures up at c.50"x 60".

I really hope this will be loved by its recipient as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.  Thank you so much to wonderful Trudi for providing me with the batting so that I could get this baby finished.

And finally a big hats off, and 21 gun salute to Lynne for bringing this cause to our attention - at the rate everyone is going, there will easily be the hoped for 50 quilts by the summer.

  1. It`s a beautiful finish H and you will make someone very happy. Are those layer cake blocks? I love the huge scale of the design but also love how you`ve broken the design up.
