Last night I built a house for the Bee Blessed ladies...
It's a lovely Spring-like scene that many in the UK would love to see right now, but with snow or a hosepipe-ban not much chance of the lawns being this beautiful any time soon!
And that's not my only house, ooh get me!
Today the lovely postlady handed me my Summersville winnings!
Lucie has challenged me to make something, (that ideally won't make her sob into her hands - my words, not hers!) in time for FQ Retreat... I'll try my best, I have an idea or two.
I had already pre-ordered a couple of charm packs, and I am fearing those will definitely not be enough; the prints, Lu's first for Moda are beautiful and fun, and I can't quite bring myself to ruin their perfect stackiness just yet!
What a fun win for you!! I've only had one stack & I totally understand the need to just admire it for a while! ;-) Cute house block too.
ReplyDeleteOh my... I think you should do the decent thing and resign from entering competitions now, be fair...
ReplyDeleteChuckling at Sarah's suggestion!! I'm feeling a mite green at your bundle but also pleased that such a lovely blogger won it!! Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteoh i love lucies fabric so much! i really cannot wait to get some!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, love that stack, and I'm with Sarah... ;o) Otherwise it'll reduce me to saying... SEWING SUMMIT :oP
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stack...what a great win!
ReplyDeleteAgree with S & K. If you brag giveaways, we brag sewing summit. Truce?!
ReplyDeleteCute house block! And good luck with your FQ project - I'm sure if there's sobbing, it'll be over the loveliness of the piece. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not too late for me to get some Summerville. Love those prints.
ReplyDeleteYour house block is lovely. What is a hosepipe ban?
Lovely house. I want that fabric, I truly do.
ReplyDeletecute block, and I'm totally jealous of the fabric! enjoy!

ReplyDeleteYour little twin Pippis will be so happy in their new home! xx
Well jel of your Summersville winnings...and your wonky house is very cute. It`s cold here. Is that any consolation?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sarah - give the rest of us a chance! Can't wait to see what you make though.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you make! But I'm also not proud so I'll be the first to ask for the scraps! Pleeeaaseeee! Fabulous social housing for the Pippies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking stack! Every week you get something cool! I'm so coming to live with you!! =D
ReplyDeleteOh I know a Pippi who will love this wonky house! Thanks so much! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI'm totally jealous of that awesome stack. And the house is cute, with just the right amount of wonk!
ReplyDeleteYour house is toooo cute! I can't wait til Summersville arrives here. At least I haven't been able to find it yet!
ReplyDeleteOooh, the Summerville is scrummy - congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYour house is lovely! Now, enough with the flattery...you can't possibly need all that fabric! Send some to me...please!
ReplyDeleteI heard from several people in the UK about the hosepipe ban.
ReplyDeleteCan I trade you a wee river or two (that never used to be here, but the rain has to go somewhere)? I would trade anything to s-t-o-p t-h-e (stinkin') r-a-i-n over here.
Can I come to your new house for tea please? Looks great H! FI
ReplyDeleteoh you lucky thing! Can't wait to see what you make with these. Cute wonky house block too!
ReplyDeleteLovely house, lovely fabrics, lovely blog - I have nominated you for a versatile blogger award although guess you are weighed down with awards already. xx
ReplyDeleteLove the house! I think you should only be allowed to enter the Baby go competitions, you are too bloody lucky with everything else ;-)
