Mental block...

Seriously lacking in Mojo yesterday; I managed to get to 3.30pm without doing anything constructive at all, and today hasn't been much better so far.

Anyhow, after son's swimming lesson, tea and kiddie bedtime last night, I finally pulled my finger out and started striking things from the To Do List...

An X&+ block for a friend...

Siggy block for Jo...

... and the beginnings of a little something I want to deliver at FQ Retreat...
I feel I should try to mention FQ Retreat as many times as I can today, to counteract the raucous Sewing Summit noise going on over the other (and this!) side of the pond.  You all know who you are!

I think I have finally decided on my swap goodies to make for FQ Retreat, so I need to get making those sooner rather than later; time is flying by, and I don't want to be the one that people are hoping isn't in their group!

  18. I am thrilled to be coming to London, which is a stunning place and no matter how nice Salt Lake City is, it is not London, England. FQ retreat is on another level, and SS is sold out so no one else can go either. I am, however, trying to see if I can save up enough to go to Texas next February, just saying.

  21. Lovely block - why is your "to do list" so different to mine? (buy food, buy toiletries, go to cleaners, do washing, iron some shirts, cook dinner for four, hoover house, plant vegetables, etc) ... no mention of sewing on mine. Where do you find the time?
