The Wise Man Cometh...

It was Nativity day for the FB children today.  Proud Mummy and Daddy watched Wise Man One and our 2 little Elves singing their hearts out.

Follow that star!
It was one of those random productions of 4-7 year olds including traditional Nativity, Father Christmas, Rockin' Robins and Elves - my photos were shocking, but we'll get a copy of it on DVD to re-live those classic songs, such as 'Don't Forget The Donkey' and '1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Elves'!

They get to do it all again tomorrow, and hopefully I will catch another glimpse after helping Reception class get into their costumes.

As promised, here is a picture of the goodies that will accompany the little purse I am offering as part of the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day...

If you haven't entered yet, make sure you click here and add your name into the mix.  Thank you for all your great answers so far about June 2nd 2012 - seems we'll mostly be having fun, somewhere or other!

And finally for the Brit Bee girls, this is the brooch I made Terri for her birthday...

;)

  5. Geez, a neighbouring wise man could lose an eye with that crown! The concert sounds like a classic. Just loved those. The first time my son participated in pre-school, there I sat with tears running down my cheeks....not from joy, but from using every ounce of self control I had not to totally bust up laughing. It was the MOST hilarious thing I'd ever seen. Every other kid, sitting cross-legged, singing "here comes Santa Claus" with hand actions, while my son stood, centre stage, arms crossed, teeth gritted, lips glued together, trying not to freak out because they'd wrapped itchy tinsel all around his head and neck and wrists. Poor kid. Just remembering that day 12 years ago puts me into fits of laughter.

  6. I think your brooch is adorable....looks nothing like boobs...only because mine would be sagging from the bottom. Turned it upside down then I would think it looked more like boobs and a bra. Oh and that is quite the load you are going to send me when you draw my name! School plays....something I don't miss. That and band concerts...oh those were torture!

  9. Sadly, I've never heard Don't Forget the Donkey, though I'm sure it's a classic. The boobcake brooch is fabulous, too!

  10. At least your kids were in something Christmassy - Indi was a frog, along with wombats, kangaroos and a scarecrow! I am feeling very homesick now. Just 2 more sleeps then I comeback!

  14. Kids are so funny without even trying! But they do make you cry - Mother's Day assembly was the most emotional for me!

Great brooch! I'm sure Terri loved both card and brooch!
