Back in June I posted here about my block for the Tokyo Quilt Festival, well today I received confirmation that my block has been sewn into quilt number 61!
I am really looking forward to seeing pictures of the quilts made from the 10,112 blocks received and donated in aid of rebuilding lives affected by the tsunami back in March; what a simple way to help.
OK then, you patient people, look what my amazing friend Toni sent me...
Happy dancing was in order!
Because the weather was so delightful this afternoon, the photos really don't do justice, but I got snapping anyway as I was so excited!
Woo hoo!!! |
If you don't know Toni, pop over to her blog and say Happy Birthday to her little boy - 'Hi Max', and then stay a while, and look at her other brilliant makes!
