I am!!
Just a little bit over-excited! Having been so jealous of all those lucky folks racing off to the Sewing Summit, those fabulous Fat Quarterly ladies and gent are hijacking the Jubilee celebrations in June, and getting those of us on this side of the pond all together for a bit of a shindig in that there London!
Now in true Sewing Summit style, I need to make an overnight bag or 3, name badge, lanyard, outfit, covered notepads, a dozen drawstring pouches, shoe bags, appliance cases, something for my phone, ipod, sunglasses, camera, a pouch for my pouches and Uncle Tom Cobley and all!
176 more sleeps!
Have fun! Don't forget to make a pouch for all your adaptors and a quilted waistcoat!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you all over there! I wish I could come too. You're going to have a fabulous time!
ReplyDeleteI'll get the girls to make me a name tag. After that I am sorted, aren't I? So looking forward to this and can't believe we now have to wait almost six months. It's going to be torture!
ReplyDeleteYet another time I want to be Brit....Can I come and stay with you?
ReplyDeletehow exciting! you are going to have a fantastic time!
ReplyDeleteYou have to wear dangly earrings, that is a given at these things........unable to join you, another time maybe.
ReplyDeleteCan`t wait, can`t wait!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! You're hilarious, you big kid! I've put my thoughts on our flickr thread. Jxo
ReplyDeleteWozzer 'lanyard'?
ReplyDeleteOh, I really want to go and am trying to persuade hubby to let me have a day pass. Hey, do you think we could persuade Rhonda to fly over for it too?
ReplyDeleteI so wanted there to be a sewing type summit in the UK. And said I'd be there with bells on. The big trouble for me is it's jubilee weekend and I can't commit this early to something that goes on right in the middle of that weekend :-(
ReplyDeleteI hope to... fingers crossed...
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to go, fingers, toes and everything crossed! I can get a direct flight from Cork :-) But I can't buy a ticket right now, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to in the New Year..... need to go buy a lottery ticket now!
ReplyDeleteI want to be! I have to be! I need to be! You bet!
ReplyDeleteYou are a lucky lady! Love all the stuff you have to make - you forgot all the swap stuff (seemed to me that all the people who went to sewing summit were involved in about a dozen swaps each!)
ReplyDeletelol we need a count down thingymajig! Sooooooooooo excited! Better start my own sewing list, list of stuff to take, plus find small man to do all the carrying there and back!
ReplyDeleteI am, lierally, GREEN with envy!! I can see some serious list making in your future- I think you've left a few things off!
ReplyDeleteCount me seriously JEALOUS! If Mr. R and I had not already planned our 40th wedding anniversary trip beginning in Berlin I would have begged to start in London. I m so bummed. I would have loved to meet all my UK peeps! Please do plan on posting a ton of photos.
ReplyDeleteSee you there!
ReplyDeleteOooh, sounds good!
ReplyDeleteDo you think if I get Hannah to make my namebadge for me then anyone will be able to read it? That is quite a list of things to make before the event - and I can't believe that you actually counted sleeps. And I thought I was excited LOL
ReplyDeleteA pouch for your pouches? Slow down, lady! Sounds exciting and can't wait to see what happens when all you crazy Brits get together!
ReplyDeleteOh I am so excited for you Hadley! I bet you guys will have loooots of fun! *jealous*
ReplyDeleteI SO want to!! Love that you're counting sleeps!
