How the heck I have managed to get to one thousand posts is completely beyond me.
OK, so to some it may feel like it's way more already, but to each and every one of you who has taken the time to pop by, read my ramblings, once, twice, maybe 1000 times, you make my day brighter, thank you so, so much!
To show my appreciation, it's only fair to have a little follower GIVEAWAY don't you think!?
On Sunday I instagrammed and posted this sneaky peak...
Which turned into this...
I think it is possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever made!! I love it, I really would love to keep it, and I think that's why I should give it away. Giving away something that I don't really want, isn't quite the point is it?
Just in case you missed my Le Challenge post; this is made using the Liberty charm off-cuts from my Marcelle Medallion quilt, and is another gorgeous pattern from Alexia's beautiful book. It is a substantial 6" square, made of Liberty lawn and a little Lifestyle, pieced with Aurifil 50wt 2021 and backed with natural Essex Linen. I even did ric-rac, and it worked! It is looking a little less luminous than it is in real life - it was so sunny, so no complaining!
So what do you need to do, other than not being a No-Reply Blogger? (Well, OK, you can be, as long as you put your email address in your comment, please!).
One comment only, (extras will be deleted), no hoops, simply tell me:
What is the most beautiful item you have ever made?
I will use Random.org to pick a winner at 8pm British Summer Time on Friday 19th April; open internationally and as ever with giveaways, I probably won't be responding to individual comments, sorry.
Good luck and thank you, my wonderful friends xxx
*** The Giveaway is now closed ***
congratulations! And I'm not at all surprised - you are a dedicated lady, that's for sure! And the most beautiful thing I have ever made (apart from my kids of course - vomit!!!!) is the mini I made for the BQS3 swap last summer. I still miss it!
ReplyDeleteWell done, 1000 is amazing. Tough question as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think a table I made when I was learning to use wood work tools many years ago. It was never perfect but my eldest son immediately grabbed it and it was by his bed for years and is now in London with him.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations H. I enjoy reading your blog and seeing what you are up to. The most beautiful thing I have ever made?....difficult but I enjoy my cushions as they make me smile every day. Di x
ReplyDelete1000! What an achievement! Don't we love the most, the most recently completed quilt! I think I love my Museum Medallion quilt the most....???? Thanks for the giveaway ! The pin cushion is indeed a thing of beauty!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a thousand posts. I love reading your blog, so long may you continue. The most beautiful thing(s) I ever made were my two daughters, with a little help from my husband! But seriously, handicraft wise, the Christening dress I made from my wedding dress was a thing of beauty.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, and this little log cabin pin cushion is beautiful!I think probably the most beautiful thing I have made is my very first proper quilt. Made up of sampler blocks that I made over two courses of learning how to quilt. Its the most beautiful simply because it got me into and taught me how to properly quilt. This then led me into many years of enjoyment and of me teaching others how to enjoy that same craft.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really hard question, not sure if beautiful but my favourite is still a quilt I made back in 2002, I called it Sweet Land of Liberty.Congrats on your 1000.x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I think my loveliest make was your mouthy stitches tote...lol...it was hard to part with, but I know it went to a good home;)
ReplyDeleteWhat Charlotte said about my kids. Ha! Otherwise, I am not sure. I still really, really love the quilt I made for Helen despite it being totally different fabric choices I usually make and quite traditional.
ReplyDeleteWell done on hitting 1000! I think the most beautiful quilt I have ever made is my fairytale forest quilt, I still get a kick out of the fussy cutting I did for it!
ReplyDeleteA quilt I made my daughter that she really loves. Isn't that what it's all about? Congrats on the huge no. of posts!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Hadley!! Congrats on your mille posts! I just passed 400 so way behind you. Probably the most beautiful thing I made so far is my Field Study triangle quilt, which I just LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts! and thank you so much for this gorgeous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful thing I've ever made must be the Liberty cushion I made for my aunt. I loved it and found it very difficult to send off but I'm glad I did because she loves it too.
Uber cute H! I think I'm still waiting to make my most beautiful thing!! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI was going to say 'my daughter' but I was beaten to it! I do count a few things as the 'most beautiful'- my first quilt, a cute pincushion, and a dress, but still waiting for the 'best'! Congrats, I'm glad I found you blog!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts! (You've written/published more posts in the first three and a half months of this year than I have on my entire blog, I think I need to pull my finger out!)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, the most beautiful thing I've ever made is...the cushion I made for Nicky (really small log cabins). I'm hoping that my hexy quilt will take the title but it's nowhere near finished yet!
Nice work!! Congratulations!! I would have to say my Tea For Two quilt made only from AGF.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Hadley! I love reading your blog and seeing the wonderful things you make - here's to the next 1000 :-)
ReplyDeleteKnee jerk reaction was to say my kids are the most beautiful thing I've made, but I did have help with that! So solo project would be the feather tote bag I made for a flickr swap - really loved it and soooo wanted to keep it :-)
Well done on 1000 posts!! How long have you been blogging? The most beautiful thing I've ever made would be my scrappytrip quilt :)
ReplyDeleteRachael
Nice job! I know I stop by every morning for a peek at your progress. The most beautiful thing I have made would be a quilt with Storm at Sea blocks for a friend of mine whose husband was diagnosed with ALS.
ReplyDeleteYou generous girl, I love your pinnie!!!! And a thousand posts - yeah, I could believe that. *g*
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's the most beautiful but I think the favouritest thing I have ever made was my first doll quilt for DQS7 about 3 years ago. I aced it (even if I do say so myself) and had only been quilting 6 months. Must have been mad to enter in the first place!!
Congratulations!!! I love the pin cushion! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOf course I was thinking my kids too but fabric wise I think the car seat quilt I made with the lovely hexies you sent me :)
Wow, that's a lot of posts! Obviously Jess but I didn't do that on my own ;) most beautiful item made with a needle and thread is a tricky one but I'm currently loving my Marcelle Medallion :)
ReplyDeleteAgain, another with my children! Really they do have the best bits of DH and myself, if they had the worst bits it would be a very different story....
ReplyDeleteOther than those two little things, I'm thinking a geranium dress I made in Amy Butler peacock feathers fabric. It's so beautiful I'm thinking of getting the Washi dress pattern and making myself a similar top.
Wow! Lots of post. This is absolutely beautiful. I think the prettiest thing I have ever made would have to be my vintage style apron. It is made out of strips of fabric and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what the most beautiful thing is (am I supposed to insert some comment about my kids here?). Probably the first quilt I ever started but didn't finish until years later. Not because its so amazing but because it introduced me to something I love!! Thanks for a great giveaway and congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1000 posts! I a very proud of a set of pinwheel cushions I made! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful thing I ever made is yet to come! I've just been sewing for a year and a half so I'm still learning. I did make a beautiful whole quilt while we were learning to free motion quilt in my sewing class last month and that turned out very nicely. And also I splurged on a few yards of liberty lawn so I can't wait to see what I make with that. Thanks for the chance to win, and it is a beautiful thing you made.
ReplyDeleteI just recently made a pillow that I love using Essex Natural and Lark. It's appliqued horizontal strips randomly displayed with straight line quilting. It contains my first ever invisible zipper. And I am so proud of the job I did. It looks so beautiful on my sofa. I love making things that make me smile each time I look at them.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of smiling, your piece looks so lovely. I've yet to use any Liberty fabric. I would love to own this. Thanks for the chance!
This is the time I really wish I'd made a child because then I could induce everyone to vomit by saying my child. But as I haven't I'll just say my hexie quilt or the plus quilt I made my Mum because the fabrics are just so happy and pretty. But really I never aim to make ugly things ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...but the most beautiful thing I ever made was my oldest daughter's First Holy Communion dress. Congrats on 1000! Thank you for the chance to win this very pretty pincushion!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful! Congratulations on your 1000th post - your blog is such fun to read. The most beautiful thing I have made - my Echino quilt.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap that is simple so beautiful it looks delectable! The most beautiful thing I have ever made...hmmm...a couture wedding dress. It was gorgeous, satin with a pale pale pale blue hint and antique handmade silk flowers in shades of lavender and blue all along the open back...like a living waterfall. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCute little pin cushion -- love the ric-rac -- I use ric-rac whenever I can!! Would love to win this cute little pin cushion and would take very good care of her! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think the most beautiful item I have ever made is a small handmade book with a copper cover. The cover was stamped with a gorgeous, detailed maple leaf to which I then carefully added impressed outlining and details. Hmmm... I should do more of that... Thanks for the chance to win your beautiful Liberty pincushion - it is sublime! As much as I have resisted (becuase of $$$), I seem to be falling in love with Liberty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteOh heavens that's like asking me to choose a favourite child!! But if really pushed, I would have to say the first big quilt I actually quilted myself. It makes me proud to see it hanging on my wall.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pin cushion by the way, wish I could get my hands on a bit of Liberty myself. Many thanks!
Congrats on 1000 post! Your pincushion is gorgeous! The most beautiful thing I've made, other then my daughter, is the wedding guest quilt I'm almost finished with. It's a pixelated heart made in their wedding colors. The blocks inside the heart are the fabric blocks their guest signed at the wedding. The purple outline of the heart will be quilted and at the bottom of the heart to the left and right are two of their engagement pictures. I've also made a pillow using another picture of them with a scrappy patchwork border framing the picture. It really is a beautiful piece!
ReplyDeletemrs(dot)hbraun(at)gmail(dot)com
My my that is a very tough q! I'd have to say a quilt I made for my parents back in 2010 as a thank you gift after my wedding ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteDo my children count??? If not then it would be the wedding quilt I made for my niece made from my Joel Dewberry stash!!
Congrats! I do metalsmithing as a hobby too and have made some pretty cool pieces of jewelry, but I think my Tokyo subway quilt is probably my favorite. That was A LOT of tiny squares that I had to sew one by one so I'm pretty proud of it.
ReplyDeleteOther than my children. :) I'm loving my Orbit quilt top at the moment - thanks for directing me to the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWow! 1000 posts! We should all be sending YOU something! I still haven't made a favorite quilt but I enjoy my pillows/cushions!
ReplyDeleteI won't be sappy and say my kids, so I think I'll choose the Kaleidoscope quilt that I made for my best friend. It had a lot of brown so I'm sure you wouldn't love it, but it also had loads of Joel Dewberry prints and orange so maybe it wouldn't hurt your eyes too much. And seriously, 1000 posts? That's insane. But I do love reading them even if I don't get the time to comment as much right now. Keep it up, lady!
ReplyDeleteCleaning out the sewing room which used to be my daughter's room, I came across the baby quilt I made for her 25 years ago.
ReplyDeleteAll the love that went into making that quilt.
Congrats on being prolific!!!
I'm certainly going to say my two daughters, but if you're looking for something stitched, it's a landscape quilt of my mother's familiy's holiday cottage in Oslo, the quilt is also my very first blog post - its what made me start blogging as I was so chuffed!
I have made my first quilted pillow. I just love the way it turned out. I am a new quilter. I should say still learning actually. Congratulations on the 1000 viewers! I love the pin cushion. It's awesome.
ReplyDeletewtpooh11@hotmail.com
I'm pretty proud of the baptism gown & cap I made for my daughter 21 years ago. Thanks for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think my supernova quilt was the best thing I ever made. Well done on 1000 blogs - so do you think you'll stick with it?
ReplyDeleteI made a small version of my diaper bag as a big sister bag for my daughter. It turned out so fabulous. I wanted to keep it as a purse!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 1000th post! The Liberty pincushion turned out beautifully and I have to say, sadly, I have never bought any Liberty fabric yet. They all look so beautiful though. I have only been quilting for a couple of months, so my list of favorites is small, but I think right now my favorite is my current WIP Princess Swoon quilt - I think it is coming out much cooler looking than I thought it would when I planned it. Much success for the future and to all your future posts!
ReplyDeleteWow - 1000? I can just imagine the lovely hours you have spent writing the schtuff we all love to read!! And wow - that is a pin cushion? Too nice to stick pins in! I guess my most beautiful item is the wonky churn dash mini for a swap I am in right now. I don't want to part with it!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on writing 1000 posts! My favorite is a mug purse or bag I made for my niece Nicole out of coffee material.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on reaching 1000! At the rate I'm going at the moment, I probably need a decade to reach even half that. My most beautiful has to be the DWR quilt I made for my parents for their anniversary 3 years ago; it MAY even be more beautiful than my boys (SSST don't tell them...)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful pincushion indeed.....
ReplyDeleteI think the most beautiful thing I have made is a needle case for my Mum made from several scraps if cream/gold brocade scraps and cream silk, done crazy patchwork style with gold embroidery and better still, she enjoyed using it for years.
I'm not really sure -- maybe my husband's and my bed quilt? It seems like the most beautiful thing I've made is usually the project I just finished... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!!
My proudest sewing accomplishment was a quilt for a friend's new baby. It was a total surprise to the Mama, and she cried when she opened it up. I had some trouble parting with it, because it was made with fabric I loved and turned out so well but I am happy knowing that the baby girl who received it will enjoy it well for many years to come!
ReplyDeleteHi there I am finishing off my favourite item right now - a sewing machine cover. Although whatever I am working on is my favourite - I am fickle. Well done on a thousand posts. I started a blog but never know what to say - maybe I should not have started!! Thanks for the chance to win your fabulous pin cushion. A pincushion is on my want/need list as unbelievably I do not have one.
ReplyDeleteLTT
A beautiful rainbow chevron quilt I gave to a friend. I may have to recreate it because I miss it so. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove your pincushion. The 2nd quilt I ever made would be my answer. Its just lots of different blues and white and is a king size. I love it
ReplyDelete1000 posts? You are amazing, well done and hope you do not want to stop entertaining us.
ReplyDeleteI really do not have a most beautiful item. The more I sew the more I learn the better I get the lovelier the items get. At the moment it will be my table runner I made for a friend with HST I think
My most beautiful is probably still the Oh My Stars quilt from last summer.
ReplyDeleteAh talk talk talk....it's all good! Love my echo quilt...it's my favourite!
ReplyDelete1000 posts is quite a milestone.
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful thing I have ever made might be the spiral if flying geese I am working on right now.
Congratulations on 1000 posts! I should probably say my children.....but I think the most beautiful quilt I have made is my daughter's sherbet pips.
ReplyDeleteWow and I thought 100 was a milestone!!!! The most beautiful thing I ever made has to be the quilt I made for mum from her bunting I made for her 60th birthday vintage tea party. It's now residing with my baby sister, comforting her in mum's absence.... :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts, that's a real achievement!. It's difficult to choose the most beautiful thing I've ever made but I think I would plump for a fairy princess dress I made ( without a pattern) for my daughter when she was 3- she wouldn't take it off!
ReplyDeleteLovely pincushion! I think the most beautiful thing I've ever made is the next finish! I'm always in love with each project!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1000 posts - quite a milestone! I LOVE the pincushion. :) The most lovely thing I have ever made, is a peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful pincushion, and I agree about giving things you love! Most r to give away was the quilt I gave to Lynne, but the most beautiful I've made, was being part of Project 51, still makes me well up, in a good joyous way :)
ReplyDeleteYou made it to 1k as we can't shut you up! But seriously congrats on the milestone, and what a fab giveaway. I am no reply until im back online tomorrow but you know where to find me. Most beautiful thing...that's a toughie, probably my hexy quilt, but its not finished yet. X
ReplyDeleteUmmm my QAYG pouch - it's sitting in front of the lap top all the time so I can look at it!!! Wow 1000 posts. Thats a lot of words, a lot of sewing, and lot of fun and friendship.... here's to 1000 more xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh, very pretty missus.
ReplyDeleteMost beautiful? Hmm, I don't tend so much towards beauty, but maybe Innocent Stains, which will be coming home again next week.
I think the most beautiful thing I ever made was a bag I made for my daughter, and she wore it out, which is what it was for, right?
ReplyDeleteHello you, congratulations on hitting the 1000 - blimey that's a lot of sewing! Love the pinny, In answer to your question, I think I'd have to say my wedding dress, just because so many hours went into it! x
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I've enjoyed every peek into your sewing room and your sense of humor gets me smiling every time. Keep posting!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite make? I think it's still Stargazing :)
Yay congratulations lovely! Your Liberty pinkie is so beautiful that I might have to make one for me if I don't win!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of my most beautiful thing I've made. I think I give away most stuff I really love, but maybe a hexagon cushion I made out of what was supposed to be a Brit bee block.
Congratulations on the 1000 posts Hadley - I really love your Liberty pincushion! I think my favourite make is the ArchiteXtures quilt which I made recently for our 20th wedding anniversary.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing I have ever made is a "quilt as you go" tote bag with linens and Japanese fabrics. I love to use it and hate to use it all at the same time! I'm too afraid to wear it out!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite item is the quilt I finished just last month, the Sew Intertwined one. I love that quilt. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteThat pincushion is absolutely gorgeous. I just oohed and ahhhed when I saw it and then I scrolled down the page and read that you had made it with Liberty. Then I knew why the colors were so beautiful! And the ric rack completes it so well. It is absolutely inspired! The most beautiful thing I ever made was a simple quilt with squares of my daughter's crayon drawings on muslin. I heat set the crayon drawings, put sashing all around, and I have lovely memories of her childhood now. Thanks so much for the beautiful, generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blog milestone, thats a lot of words and thoughts! I tend to fall in love with whatever Im making at the time... but I still smile when I look at the first proper size quilt I made, for my daughter, 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI just smile when i look at the you are my sunshine quilt that i made my husband
ReplyDeleteIrecently made a pinwheel quilt with prairie points using Marmalade by Bonnie and Camille. So very cute and the colors just beautiful. Loved it. Thanks for a chance to win your fantastic pincushion.
ReplyDeleteI made a quilt for my mom last Xmas that was white with Pam Kitty Morning fabrics interspersed throughout and she loves it! awolk at rogers dot com
ReplyDeletewow! that's a LOT of posts, and a LOT of site hits! go you! and the pin cushion is stunning, i would love to have it!!! it's hard to think of the most beautiful thing i ever made. but i guess i really love my kaleidoscope quilt i made from vintage linens. it's so gorgeous and i snuggle in it every day! thanks for the chance :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! :) Love your pin cushion....now it'd be happy livin with me...and I'd love it 'specially too!
ReplyDeleteHaven't made my "most Beautiful" project ...yet! lol Pretty new to this quilty stuff!
Most beautiful? Other than my daughters, that is?
ReplyDeleteProbably the prom dresses for those beautiful daughters. I am waiting for the chance to make the wedding dresses....
Congrats on the milestone and I love the Liberty pin cushion (it inspired me to order some fat eighths!). In 2009 I made a memory quilt for my husband's birthday of his favorite pup who we had just lost after 12 yrs. - it remains a thing of beauty!
ReplyDeleteWow, 1000, that is a lot of words, I only wish that i had read them all. The prettiest thing that i have made is the quilt I made for my first granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - what an amazing accomplishment! The most beautiful thing I have ever made (so far!) is a recycled felted sweater blanket. All in pinks and purples, and the coziest thing ever to curl up under. Many thanks for the chance at your lovely pincushion!
ReplyDeleteellen(at)myerly(dot)net
So so pretty. great fabric and colours. One of my own favourite makes is my Easter Hare which was made with a Laura Ashley upholstery remanant - its featured on my Easter post.
ReplyDeleteLove this pin cushion and I'd have to say that Liberty anything is my favorite fabric ever!
ReplyDeleteMost beautiful thing made so far is not sewn but knitted. A pair of lace socks in a lovely mossy green. I'm so impressed with myself for making them and I'm going to do more. I do sew a lot and have made some pretty things, but think the socks win out!
Beautiful! I've never had any Liberty. When I come to London this Autumn I will buy a bit of it, even if I don't get to eat that day. :) The prettiest thing I've ever made was probably the soft, lovely quilt that I gave my fabulous 80-year-old mom for Christmas last year.
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful item I've ever made was a quilt for my niece. It was a big quilt that I decided I would hand quilt. Well needless to say it took me FOREVER, but I did get it done and she loved it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Hmmm... Picking the most beautiful thing I ever made is a bit like picking a favorite child. I will have to choose my queen sized bed quilt made up of 20 variations on a carpenters star in FMF because I am most proud of the endless hours it took to piece.

ReplyDeleteMy qayg weekender bag is the most beautiful thing I have ever made, so proud of it
ReplyDeleteHi. I'm a newbie sewer so haven't made that much yet. My most beautiful thing is my patchwork bag that I use to carry my lunch in. Love it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 1000 posts, that is a lot of typing!
ReplyDeleteIt is not the most beautiful but the first quilt I made for my eldest son is definitely the project I am most proud of.
Wow! That is certainly a milestone to celebrate! Congrats! I love my recent sampler quilt, my photos just didn't do it justice, i think i need to go on a photography course! :o)
ReplyDeleteI think it was probably a meal. Between the courses, the company, and the occasion, it was a beautiful evening and had cake. Which I made.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1000! I've been blogging for four years and have only just cracked 200. lol.
Congrats on the milestone! Most beautiful thing.. my son.. I still can't believe my body did that! :) As far as sewing, I'd have to pick his special I Spy quilt that I hand quilted his traced hands and feet into when he was three. Thanks for the chance to win, and for such a generous giveaway. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Congratulations on all the posts, I have read several of them and truly look forward to doing so. I love the pincushion, my copy of that book arrived this week and it is lovely. I cannot say what the most beautiful thing I have made is, I tend to love my current project the most. Of course I could also say the kids but they are less cute now that they are teenage and young adult boys.
ReplyDeleteGosh what stamina and all compulsive reading amateur for me. My MBT is a quilt made from a book of designs based on Venetian mosaic floors but done in African colours for my son and his partner who live in Kenya
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. Pauline
Congrats Hadley! oh my goodness - I don't really know but my birdy pouch came close - I loved everything about it but I'm fickle and a couple of new things might just top that!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. My most beautiful thing would be a quilt using Amy butler soul blossoms which is on my bed; unfortunately my children don't agree and refer to it as the vomit quilt as it is so bright and full of saturated colour!
ReplyDeleteYour pin cushion is beautiful -- I think the colors are so joyous! One of my favorite projects was an appliqued pillow with an older lady that I called "Mother." She was inspired by an old portrait I found in our former attic, and now that I am an 'older lady' I sure wish I had kept her!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice give away. Congratulations on 1000 posts. I sorta forget to keep track of that stuff. :-) I love the pin cushion. It's gorgeous. How sweet of you to give it away when you love it so. I think the most beautiful thing I've made is a little tiny duffle bag made from Lucy's Crap Shack scraps. It might not be the most beautiful. But it's my favorite thing. Here it is: http://peasinapod.typepad.com/peas-in-a-pod/2012/06/using-lucys-crab-shack-scraps-a-little-duffle-do-it-pattern-review.html
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did I miss this post first time round? There must be something wrong with my Liberty radar this week. Love the pincushion in all its Libertiness.
ReplyDeleteI think my most beautiful thing I've made might be the dress I made for my daughter recently - kids' clothes are just so ridiculously cute!
The most gorgeous thing I've made (other than my kids :-) is probably my very first quilt. There's something magical about your first, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteI love my blue and white Dresden quilt. fran.daoust@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this huge milestone.
ReplyDeleteI love pincushions and this is definitely a beauty.
I'm impressed by your perfect ric-rac!
I'm hoping that the feather quilt will be my bestest ever.
The most beautiful item I have made is a quilt for my granddaughter. She chose the fabrics and I designed the quilt. It was all bright prints and the block was meant to look random. I had no idea how it would look until the top was put together. I certainly was tempted to keep it for myself. -- soparkaveataoldotcom
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts. I think the most beautiful thing I have made was a "girl on a tree swing" wall hanging I made for a friend for her birthday.
ReplyDelete
