So the recent trip to IKEA had a purpose, and last night dear hubby and I made up my two new trofast units. About half an hour and no major disagreements and we were done.
This afternoon I sat in the sun and sorted a few boxes, and this evening I need to get this
Oh joy!
Hopefully I will have something far more interesting to show you tomorrow!
Looks like a very succesful sort out, personally hate having the pile of 'now what do I do with this lot' left over. good luck Hadley! I know you can do it!
ReplyDeleteI really love the idea of using these boxes. If I could figured out where to put them, I'd be heading to Ikea right now. Those are just perfect for scraps--and everything else.
ReplyDeleteConstant sorting is a pain - these look pretty good.
ReplyDeletesuch a perfect storage solution!
ReplyDeleteI am super organised when I have the right storage...which I almost never have lol. I also hate that pile that gets left over at the end of a sort of - stuff you can't get rid of but don't know what to do with!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic! I would squeal with delight at all that organising. I'm sick I know, it's my favourite thing to do (not that you'd always know it from the state of my house!!). It will feel so good once you've finished :)
ReplyDeleteThose are exactly the ones I said I wanted to nick from Emily's room. I so need some. Not sure where I can put them but still need them. I think I need to let the dining room deteriorate to a dreadful state again and push himself to the edge and then the budget will miraculously appear!!
ReplyDeletehmmm Sorting and organising and stroking fabric is fun... but not it you HAVE to do it every time you want that particular bit you're thinking of... lol Glad you've got the ikea out its boxes!
ReplyDeleteI hate de-cluttering but love it when it`s done. Yea for that Swedish store!
ReplyDeleteI hate the sorting, but Ikea makes it almost tempting! Almost!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! No excuses now! Jxo
ReplyDeleteLove it! My bin wall from Target MADE my life SOOOO much better. ...and rendered the guest room possibly usable for an actual guest.
ReplyDeleteI have a guilt secret, I love to visit Ikea and B&Q and get storage things lol Yours looks somewhat more stylish to my choices though, perhaps I need to move away from the budget section ;o)
ReplyDeleteOooo sooo many places to put things..I'd still be dithering about what goes where!
ReplyDeleteMay be adding these to my list for the next Ikea roadtrip...
ReplyDeleteI have three of those trofast units, they make like so much easier - 2.5" strips, 2" strips, other scraps, projects, Christmas fabrics, all in their own drawers! Plus there are at least 4 more trofast units around the house! I LOVE storage boxes!
ReplyDeleteOh, this looks fantastic! I'd love a organized sewing space. Just barely have enough room for myself in this little corner :( You must be thrilled - A good trip to IKEA will have you organized in no time!
ReplyDeleteThink of all that you will find there! Have fun getting sorted and then you can start creating!
ReplyDeleteOrganization. One of my favorite things to do. Yet, my sewing room always looks like a disaster...
