So if you would like to check out the next challengees (?), you will find oh-so-brave Ella (throw a wrench in the works), Mad Scouser Beth (no blog), and Alli (B. Yazoo).
Exciting stuff!
In Half-Term news, I utilised my free child labour to arrange and re-arrange the layout of the man-quilt, and this evening I have pieced the top! I am awaiting some Kona Coal to mix with a charm pack for the backing, then I can crack on. Oh I wish I could show you - but not you, dear husband!
I have been getting on with joining some hexies, losing 1.75lbs and I am planning on making the decision on a Christmas project, so I'm off to Pinterest, to make a Christmas board.
Heinous poly-cotton be gone!
Congratulations on the 1.75lbs loss is that from your person or your stash ;o) Your labourers sound very useful - do you hire them out?! Love the wreath, is that tomorrow's project for the labourers?!
ReplyDeleteI knew they'd come in useful at some point... lol
ReplyDeleteAs in comment 1, I also congratulate you on your weight loss and I too was wondering if you were talking from your fabric stash or person. Either way that is a great loss.
ReplyDeleteAhh, free child labour, can't beat it - my mum always used to say there was no point in keeping a dog and barking yourself...
ReplyDeleteYay on the wreath, and super yay on the weight loss!
I'm loving the scrap bag ideas. Hope his quilt is coming along at your usual speed and quality!
ReplyDeleteHehe, yay for free child labor!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your 1.75 pounds! My intentions to diet only last from the time between breakfast and dinner. :D
Hah! I meant to say "between breakfast and lunch."
ReplyDeleteOh that`s so weird, today is the first day of a new fitness regime. Well done on the almost kilo and perhaps we can egg each other on. I have to do something!
ReplyDeletePoor kiddies!! Congrats on the loss.

Wouldn't you think just being a mum and constantly running around after wee ones would keep us permanently thin!! Can't wait to see your man quilt. Are you going to have a go at that wreath? Jxo
ReplyDeletei have steadily been putting on weight and decided yesterday enough is enough just before i had fish and chips for tea! bet the quilt is amazing. isn't half term fabulous. i am itching to sew. xx
ReplyDeleteHoping to get back on track through inoring mine - they would revolt at the idea of child labour - guess you have to start young!
ReplyDeleteYeah on weight loss! Looking forward to seeing the man quilt! Sort of hoping it has a man wrapped in it!
Hooray for the weight loss! Can we keep it up, do you think? With it being half term this week, I'm not hoping for too much, but I have at least learnt that I can last a week (or two) without stuffing my face with sweets ;) That wreath looks lovely, and can't wait to see the finished man-quilt!
ReplyDeleteOh so thats what children are for, i'd best put mine to use asap, they've been hanging around for years!
