Oh you may see a sheet, a tea towel and a rather hideous vest from the charity shop...
... but I am hoping that by this time tomorrow, they will be fit for Professor Quirrel, the old lady from A Squash and a Squeeze and the witch from Room On The Broom.
Please wish me luck with that!
It surely can't be World Book Day already?!! I'm sure they're getting closer together!
ReplyDeleteWe Love a Squash and a squeeze
ReplyDeleteROFL, err, well, yes, good luck with that!
ReplyDeleteOh bloody hell, why do schools do this to us?!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay then....have you been taking your meds?
ReplyDeleteOh crap did i miss a school notice?! Good luck :-)
ReplyDeleteWe did our junior book group in my work and I am ashamed to say when the kids asked about world book day we had forgotten about it . Shame on us.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I not really understand any of that? Well, I wish you luck!
ReplyDeleteYou clearly like a challenge!
ReplyDeleteWith those skills you'll be on Great British Sewing Bee in no time! Jxo
ReplyDeleteMakes me so glad that mine are all beyond that last minute panic to come up with something appropriate by the next morning! Sure that you will meet the challenge in your usual great style :)
ReplyDeleteDo I spy brown????
ReplyDeleteI don't miss this at all! Good luck! Though my teenager is now on a placement in primary school and came home covered in glitter and paint on her first day!
ReplyDeleteIm going in a penguin onsie! Just need to find a book that ties in with my primark bargain!
ReplyDeleteGood luck. My kids grew out of the stage were I was allowed to sew things for them quite young, yours are holding on longer, and you are a good sport about it all.
ReplyDeleteMy kids do book week. They have to learn a poem, write a book report, make a mask/other object AND dress up as their favourite character. I hate it all.
ReplyDeleteHa! World book day?! Ours is next week :/ Good luck
