The Christmas lights were switched on in our village this evening; carols were sung, Santa made an appearance, or two, and it was rather lovely...
Then the freezing rain started... and two hours later I still haven't warmed up! So I am going to sit on my hands and watch Kirstie on +1 xxx
blimmin weather! Try not to scream at Kirsty in frustration :-)
ReplyDeleteEek! Kirsty has gone to one of my favourite shops, The Cloth House! Di x
ReplyDeleteI've got it on in the back ground. I've managed not to heckle at all yet! x Think I can hear rain outside here too.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching it right now - sewing bit next xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know who Kirstie is? Must be a British thing!
ReplyDeleteRaining here too. Makes me happy to be warm and dry inside.
ReplyDeleteKirstie? We are having a drizzly day--perfect for sewing. Too bad I have to get my work done first...
ReplyDeleteLooks very festive :) I watched Kirsie on +1 too. We have freezing rain lying on top of 1 inch of ice Brrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteVery festive. I've got what she's got^^^ (being 15 miles down the road ;o) )
ReplyDeleteI guess some of need to learn more about Kirstie....dying of curiosity as your television is better than ours! I've always wanted to experience a village Christmas. :o)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I am jealous about is Kirstie! WOuld you like a weather report from sunny and warm Melbourne??! Nah, probably not!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. Our village too had a festive night - sadly sooooo crowded I could not take any pics! Enjoyed Kirsty too.
ReplyDeleteI like your Santa Mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI feel challenged to go spend hours researching so i can add one to my blog.
Our tree lighting is tonight.
And possibly we will get a tree this weekend ourselves.
Christmas tree sewing ornaments over at Indygo Junction looked like a fun and easy project.
I'm on the Smarty pants phone which is not easy to cut and paste links. --on their Facebook page.
