Makes perfect sense! :oD
Bless her - I sang along as I read it!! (Bet her teacher loves those circles above the i's *wink*)
I remember having my own version of Frere Jacques too! The 3rd line soon got superseded by "soggy semolina" once I started school. Very sweet x
That is just brilliant.
That's pretty good!
Brilliant and it got me humming along too. Clever sausage
Oh bless! That is so cute!!
I totally got it! Très adorable!
Aw very cute. Although for some random reason I'm now wanting some Ferrero Rocher...
That is so funny, what a great thing to keep for the future
Awesome! I cant believe I got it before I scrolled down and saw your explanation!
I love that you've conned your kids into keeping up the random too :oD
I love the phonetic spelling!
I was trying to figure out what Vermont had to do with anything.Has anybody ever been there?
And she'll still remember that when she's 60!
That is awesome!!
Brilliant :) I got it instantly, I think it was the only French song I ever (sort of) learnt.
I love this!
My kind of French! I remember line 3 as soni-lemon-tina, soni-lemon-Tina though!
This is genius! For the dyslexic in me it makes perfect sense :)
Okay, this is the first time I've ever been to your blog and I had to share this. I had just read your Frère Jacques post (in my head, didn't say a word out loud) when my 4 year old who was sitting on the floor next to me playing starting singing the song!!! I kid you not! Made the hairs on my neck stand up. I asked him why he was singing that song and he just shrugged and said, "I dunno." Kinda creepy! lolI'm loving your blog though.
