That happened to me last week, so thank goodness for frame purses.
I was able to get this made in an hour; and it went down a treat at the school gate.
I know I am sometimes a crap forgetful friend, but other times at least I can make it look like I am not ;)
Lovely gift :-) Love the sunlight in your pictures, especially the top one :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely! You got the pattern really well centered as well. I have two purse frames and the glue waiting for the courage to try making one...my sister wants a new make-up case for her b-day, no idea if I'll manage to make one though!
ReplyDeleteA perfect gift
ReplyDeleteWell received, I'm sure! Looks like you've perfected these! What's the next challenge?
ReplyDeleteyou totally missed my birthday... ;) xo

ReplyDeleteNice one to pull out of the bag so to speak. Goo good job with the glue. Di x
ReplyDeleteGreat recovery! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more crap forgetful friends if this is what you get from them! Lovely x
ReplyDeleteLucky, lucky friend. I have a sweet friend that made me a lovely frame purse as an unexpected but much loved birthday gift as well. I bet your friend is thrilled with this beautiful blue purse. I still have yet to try one, not sure where the block is but one day I'll have to do something with the 3 frames I have sitting in waiting!
ReplyDeleteSuper gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty. I just made my first framed purse today and it won't be my last! I look forward to being able to do this under an hour though ;)
ReplyDeleteYou rock!
ReplyDeleteYou can be my crap forgetful friend and I'd remind you it was my birthday every month!
ReplyDeleteLovely purse. Lucky friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm crap at remembering too - but I usually have to leave 7-10 days for posting so I'm always late!
