Done!

I can hang up my Birthday hat for another year - all done, and kiddies asleep!

Today's party was good fun, I may have gone on the bouncy castle, but there are definitely no action shots...

Cake with the bunting!
I will now spend the evening making a list of all the things I need to make before Christmas - I sold all the travel trays I made for my mum's friends, so the teaching assistants will be back on the list, mixed feelings on that one.  The sales equate to a third of my FMF fund, so I don't think I can begrudge the TAs too much.

Hope you are all having a good weekend too xxx

  1. The party looks like great fun and the cake + bunting is fabulous! Congratulations on the tray sales but I'm guessing you're not looking forward to getting the hammer back out!

  6. Well you can't beat tutus and trampolines! Good luck with the list, but I think the FMF will be worth it!

  8. Great bunting! Last time I went on a bouncy castle at an indoor play place some father got on, bounced too hard, knocked the fan thing off and as he got off again the bloody thing deflated with me in it. I was chucking children out as fast as I could, and then crawled out, castle on my head, eight and a half month baby bump slowing me down considerably. Don't trust the bloody things now!

  15. Looks like a fun party!! Glad you took a stab at the bouncy house-- they are lots of fun!! I recently went to a party at a bouncy house type place and my sister convinced me to put on the velcro suit and then you run and jump and stick to the wall (we did it together-- there were 2 suits)-- I have not laughed so hard in a long time. I'm cracking up just thinking about it. Anyway, beautiful cake with the bunting. Happy belated bday to everyone in your family-- I've enjoyed reading all your posts (but haven't left many comments lately). You reminded me that I need to write out my gifts list-- its been in my head, but I need to see it on paper.

  18. See, you seem to have followed my granny and grandad's birthday technique - get them all grouped together, and cut down on the number of parties you need to have ;o)

I did pass a van on the way back from the fair yesterday that proudly announced it was a supplier of bouncy castles for kids AND adults, so, you know, there are people out there that expect you to get on in there (and damnit, why don't I have friends with bouncy castles?!)
