OK, I do, and I'm going to use it!
This morning's task, (other than washing, ironing and a trip to Tesco), is to complete some change trays to give to my Mum later; a couple of her friends have requested some for their daughters for Christmas.
So in those brief spare minutes recently, I have been stitching up the squares and starting to get those tricky poppers on.
So far I have made 3 large, 2 medium and a pair of matching smaller ones and have just four more to hammer this morning. They actually don't want that many, but I figured whichever they don't choose can be put aside for Teaching Assistant Christmas gifts and the like.
For those not hanging round these parts when I last had a travel tray blitz, here's the 'how'.
Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes for dear Hubby yesterday - he loves his quilt, so quit asking for it!! I even got a Flickr Explore for a picture of the front!
I didn't get to catch up an all things bloggy yesterday, and doubt I'll get a chance again today as the hubs and I are out to a concert tonight, so have a great rest of the weekend, and I'll catch you all tomorrow x
I find those poppers a nightmare- great when they work but I squash a lot along the way. Congrats on your man quilt- kept meaning to say, and happy b'day to the man!
ReplyDeleteooh! A concert! Mr S and I saw kd lang last night! Who are you seeing?? Great change trays! Now..if i had a hammer??
ReplyDeleteHappy hammering!
ReplyDeleteThe trays look fun, but I'm awful with snaps! Congrats on Explore!
ReplyDeleteCareful with that hammer... Enjoy the rest of your weekend :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the trays....but I have a dumb question. What is a Flickr Explore?

ReplyDeleteHave fun with the hammer - mind your fingers!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of hammering! *has grommet flashbacks*
ReplyDeleteI love it - you're doing some serious DIY! They look great and will make fab gifts! xx
ReplyDeleteA concert or a gig? A bit of Mozart or a bit of Gaga (oh it can`t be Gaga, she`s on X Factor)!
ReplyDeleteOh, I keep meaning to try those trays. Although the hammer puts me off! Serious damage possible, and not just to me lol!!
ReplyDeleteHadley with a hammer? Is that safe! Change trays look fab! Jxo
ReplyDeleteAre you allowed to play with hammers? Please keep it away from thumb nails, LOL. I followed the link as I'm another who doesn't know flickr explore, but congratulations whatever it is!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy hammering! Now if I had a hammer I think I would be ready to put it through my computer which is just back from the shop and is now on the blink....again!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen these before - just clicked over and read the tutorial and now I shall have a try myself. I just love these simple and quick tiny gifts -
ReplyDeleteThanks. Annabelle.
