Satisfaction is...

... coming home from work and managing to get one of my monthly commitments under my belt in the 3/4hr before the kids were due to be picked up from school!

This month in the Siblings Together Quilting Bee, Carol set us Melissa Corry's succinctly named The Original Happy Quilting Quilt Along block!  I had a bit of a head-scratch moment when I saw I was going to lose my points, but that there's the pattern, so no harm done...

We had the lovely Kate & Birdie's Storybook fabric to play with from Moda, and the twofer construction of the block means that we have partial blocks to send back to Carol as well...

... bonus!

I can't believe we are already in the 10th month of this brilliant Bee, it's my turn to play Mama next month, so I am looking forward to that!

Thanks again wonderful sponsors!

  1. Haha I had that exact same panic and then realised it was ok!
Looking forward to next month already...

  2. Those points had me in a panic too! Was peering at photos to check I hadn't mucked up!!

  3. It is a pretty block, points or no points,

  4. Cute blocks, looking forward to seeing what you cook up for them

  5. Blimey, 10 months? My life is whizzing past me! Very pretty block and bonus that you got it done so fast :)

  6. You are getting ahead of yourself :) Nice blocks, they will make a lovely quilt.

  7. Very cute block - haven't seen that one before.

  8. I'd have had the same head-scratch moment! Looks great!

  9. I didn't like losing them either but that's the pattern! They still look good and I'd better get a move on with mine as I follow you!
