We've had a quiet weekend. Everyone was a bit exhausted after a week back at learning and working, and even the weather took a break; sunshine yesterday and a lot of grey nothing today. Dear son took the Harry Potter cushion to the party and by all accounts it was very well received.
I sewed up a few more of my #economyblockalong blocks, and now have a grand total of 25/42...
Not a great photo, sorry.
The girls and I also decided on a couple of little projects out of a book Father Christmas got them; we pulled the fabrics, but quit before tempers were frayed too much; so we are ready to get sewing at some point this week, wish me luck!
I am all set for the final episode of Sherlock, (3, that's really not a series, pah!), and then I'll be off for an early night; totally rock and roll xxx
Oh look, more people to supervise you peeing... :oD
ReplyDeleteI know, 3 episodes is a complete swizz! I'm making up for it with Series 1 and 2 reruns on Alibi
I know, can't believe Sherlock is nearly over already :/ Your economy blocks are looking great. Looking forward to seeing what you and your girls make, I always need patience when sewing with my DD!
ReplyDeleteLoving your economy blocks - I'll get on that bandwagon when it's gone out of fashion like I will the scrappy trip. (not that I'm behind!) As for Sherlock it's so sad it's over when it's just begun. Looking forward to seeing what you and the girls are making!
ReplyDeleteYour economy quilt will be amazing - there is some super duper fussy cutting in those blocks!!
ReplyDeleteYour economy blocks look scrummy. I wish they hadn't shown 2 Sherlocks the same week, makes it feel even shorter than it is.
ReplyDeleteLove your economy blocks and look forward to your post about what the girls made :)
ReplyDeleteHave only just got into Sherlock and it is finished already! Will have to catch up with the earlier series to see what I have missed!
ReplyDeleteLoving the economy blocks:)
Wasn't it brill! Love your blocks. Jxo
ReplyDeleteFab economy blocks quilt
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great relaxing weekend. Well deserved. Your blocks are looking mighty fine too.
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds lovely! Your blocks are looking absolutely fab there as a little family. Keep going!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Sherlock is over already! Unlike the economy blocks, they just keep right on going ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, this is just lovely as can be! I haven't started yet and think I'm going to do the revised version by During Quiet Time. She added a little bit extra to the economy block and I like it a bit more.
ReplyDeleteHaven't got to see the final episodes of Sherlock ~ they don't start till next weekend (for some silly reason ~ I"m in the States) and can't wait! Sorry it's going to be over ~ loved the show!
The economy blocks look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSherlock was fab. Your blocks are looking good. Di x
ReplyDeleteWhose temper frays? Yours or the girls? It's I like that in our house too, particularly with daughter. She gets frustrated quickly and loses temper, then that winds me up and I lose mine. We're too alike to work well together!
