I hope that you have heard of Emily's awesome baby, the antidote to the 'US only' sellers over at the #greatfabricdestash that had so many of us UK folks gritting our teeth earlier in the week, and wondering how difficult it must be to use the US postal system!
At 7pm tonight the #greatukfabricdestash will commence over on instagram...
If you 'don't do Instagram', quick, sign up, it's free, painless, and you won't even have to use it again after this evening, but I bet you do!
I only have 4 lots to list; I have said it before, we are talking a stash of just scraps or things I love too much to part with or use; plus I very quickly lost the will to live whilst searching through. I have a couple of infinity scarf sets, and a 4m cut of AMH and another meter that will never get used, so please pop over, I am mrsflyingblind.
Can't promise I will upload at 7pm on the dot, small matter of bedtime to sort, but with the number of people already prepping, it could be a long and expensive night!
I never thought I'd be sad that I have a Blackberry phone - but tonight I am sad because they don't do Instagram :( Boo hoo for me!
ReplyDeleteAnother destash that is not for me, oh well, have fun and don't spent too much.
ReplyDeleteI don't have anything but my computer and Instagram won't sign me up.
ReplyDeleteI've listed and am desperately trying to resist buying! It's way too much fun and I've got a quilt guild sewing day to prepare for tomorrow. Needless to say its going to be a last minute rush again!!!!
ReplyDeleteDid you sell? So many things came up it was mind boggling. I won some, and I lost the speed draw on others. It was crazy!
ReplyDeleteI listed, and not entirely surprised some haven't sold lol Still, amazingly someone's interested in my granny's 1980s Liberty hand me down that I only grudgingly gave house room to, so things are looking up!
ReplyDeleteI succumbed! Fabric shopping watching the Three Musketeers - simples :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a bonkers evening but great fun. Well done Emily for organising it. Di x
ReplyDeleteSo, how did you do? Scoop up anything good?
ReplyDeleteI managed to get at least one swap out of it which is good since I'm on a diet ;) Sold quite a bit too but have a few stubborn half yards that I can't budge for love nor money despite not being fugly! I expect a report on your evening forthwith ;)
ReplyDeleteCompletely missed this - just as well with your AMH listing!
ReplyDeleteI have joined Instagram, but then had a full and frank discussion with myself about how much I've bought recently ( I've just ordered loads from Simply Solids too) and made myself keep away!
ReplyDeleteHad fun with the Aussie one, and a few Americans posted to me. Surely it can't be that hard, if we're willing to pay their enormous postal rates?
