Random Nuisance!

Oh my week, not a lot of random, but a hell of a lot of noise!

The men who inhabit this...

Pooview, W. Sussex
... are not in my good books, nor is the neighbour; but I had nothing but smiles knowing they told her they'd probably still be about when her kids got home at 4.30, she said goodbye and went off to work at 2pm; they packed up at 2.30!

All the drilling, has given me a 3 day headache, I hope it shifts before I help out with sewing at Rainbows tomorrow night, as I fear that will bring a whole new level of shrill!

    Our neighbours have a painter decorator in this week and yesterday he took a morning tea break for an hour and a half! Yes, a whole 90 mins sitting in his wee van with a flask of tea, his newspaper and his mobile phone. He got out of the van to paint their garden fence, it started to rain 5 mins in and he got back in his wee van for his lunch!. I do hope he's not charging for that time. I'm not a nosey neighbour but his wee van was parked just under my office window - honest!

    feeling your pain - we have renovations next door too, although they knock down walls here with a hammer and chisel so it isn't too loud - just endless!

    We had major house renovations done 3 years ago this month, made our bungalow look like it swallowed an apartment at the back. Our poor neighbours! The day the workman banged on MY bathroom door to hurry me up, I realised they weren't using their Tardis. The look on his face when I opened the bathroom door was worth it!!
