Random emotions...

One little twinnie practicing her expressions for when she hears the England result in the morning...

Whilst the other is suffering mixed feelings, the joy of having a frog/toad inhabiting the top of the sandpit, and later, his older and somewhat more dried out brother found in the grass...

Right, I have the Siblings quilt all ready, again, and a football match to watch; the amount of binding stitched down will be directly proportional to the excitement of the game.  I'm hoping for a win win.

World Book Day...

A 'world' day, that it seems no-one outside of the UK knows about, is pretty random in itself, but these backgrounds, chosen by the individuals pictured, are pretty out there...

Today they donned their gladrags and made the most of the sunny weather...

Year 5's theme was JK Rowling, and Year 3 had Julia Donaldson.  I think they looked great.

Go-between...

After dropping the girls at school, I took dear son to the doctors, nothing serious; whilst there I checked on my breath test - negative!  Dropped him back to school, came home for an hour, went back to the doctors, waited, waited and waited some more, and then got a prescription for some less aggressive medication and a referral letter sent to the hospital - they're going in :(

So my day of sewing was spent mostly in the waiting room, but I did get a little Valentine's pressie stitched up for tomorrow at least.

Then it was back to school, for Disco-time!

I took my usual spot...

It's an Inset Day tomorrow, so our romantic day will be more of a family affair, but one little girl already got a present from her sweetheart, so she is all smiles...

I have spent so long writing this my battery has gone to 5%, so that'll have to be your lot for today.

Random Nuisance!

Oh my week, not a lot of random, but a hell of a lot of noise!

The men who inhabit this...

Pooview, W. Sussex

... are not in my good books, nor is the neighbour; but I had nothing but smiles knowing they told her they'd probably still be about when her kids got home at 4.30, she said goodbye and went off to work at 2pm; they packed up at 2.30!

All the drilling, has given me a 3 day headache, I hope it shifts before I help out with sewing at Rainbows tomorrow night, as I fear that will bring a whole new level of shrill!

Random day...

AKA Trying to pluck the most random out of what I have!

Today started with girly haircuts, always guaranteed to bring out the best in my 3...

Then we consulted the Sainsbury's Book of Summer and ended up bowling for a couple of hours...

After lunch we went to Pulborough Brooks, bugger the birdlife, we went for ice cream and the park...

Top right, spot the poisonous caterpillars; bottom right, the girl has a wobbly Nanny McPhee tooth!

And whilst they played, I saw this; if you look quickly, or in bright sunlight, you will be forgiven for thinking Mollie Makes has a bad case of potty-mouth...

I know I promised you a reveal of my late night sewing, but I haven't had the chance to sort the pictures, and even if I do say so myself, it deserves a post of its own!
