Thank you Daniel...

Daniel is our postman.  He knocked on the door and told us his name on his first day.

Today whilst I was at work he managed to wedge this lot through the door.  I like it when I can't just swing the front door wide open when I get back, and that he didn't wimp out and leave a red card!

We have a Mollie Makes on subscription, and a 100 Blocks magazine that I won from Lindsey a while back.  The girls and I got new passports, they took less than a fortnight to process, I am impressed!  And the fabric and perle?  Lovely Annie sent me a voucher for The Village Haberdashery which I just had to add to, rude not to, obviously, and I have a plan that I will reveal when I have few more 'must dos' under my belt.

Anyway, must dash, Mad Dogs needs my full attention xxx

  1. Can you send him up our way every now and again. We get a red card even when we are in!

  2. What a lovely postman you have! I'm often just setting out with Archie when my post lady is starting her round and if she hears my gate go and has a parcel for me she shouts across the street so I don't miss it! Gorgeous new fabric and magazines, have fun!

  4. I love that your postman introduced himself. I never see our postie because I'm at work but the regular one round here doesn't like me lol

  5. Ha ha I don't know whether to blame tiredness or a filthy mind but when I scrolled down I thought the "100 Blocks" magazine said "B*ll*cks!"

  11. I think the most shocking thing my postie managed to get through my door recently was that beach bag from the magazine, folded in half o.O It survived the ordeal too, they're obviously giving them heavy duty training sessions ;o)

  12. I like a postie that doesn't shy away from the challenge and gives it a good go- ours is great, and I can always tell when the replacement is only duty, as he seems to struggle to get an envelope through the door, let alone my large amazon orders!

  17. Envious of your quilting mags! Passports are good too because they mean you can escape to the sun! Lovely mail.

  18. Same as Heart of Charnwood I always know when Malcolm (our postie) has a day off as we nearly always get someone else's mail! If Malcolm sees me heading off to work in my car he'll always stop me if he's got a package for me. Not had a red card in the six years we've been here!

Daniel's package is lovely by the way!

  20. My postie is called Iain and I love him! He brings biscuits and cuddles for the dog and makes full use of the playhouse for parcel delivery :)
