You wash, I'll dry...

But not with these!

I was given the opportunity recently to receive a couple of tea towels from All Tea Towels, and I am NEVER one to say 'no' to cool free stuff, especially of the fabric variety.

I know, I should have ironed them!
Now I enjoy drying up as much as the next person, so I am going to have to make alternative plans for these.

I am thinking of using the Brew Up as a backing for a mini-quilt, maybe as part of the Modern Mini Challenge, and I am toying with the idea of chopping up the superb Creamola one for a purse or two.  I chose the latter as it immediately reminded me of two of my fellow Brit Bees, Sarah and Fiona (but don't tell them that I like the logo far more than the actual drink!!).

I had a quick Google and came across some wonderful ideas too including these tea towel bags and drawstring bags.

The linen is such great quality, it almost seems a shame to not simply frame them and put them on the kitchen wall.

Al, who is based in Northern Ireland, sent these so quickly after I narrowed down my choice,  I would have no qualms about going back as a paying customer.  Please pop over and have a look at the amazing selection he has in stock.

Here are a few of my other favourites...

Can you imagine turning the Tunnocks wrapper design into a whole quilt top!?

  1. I had a craving for those Creamola Foam crystals when I was pregnant, couldn't stop drinking it. I am not sure if you can still buy them, I am talking 33 years ago. You just reminded me of them and now I will have to google and see if I can get some :)

  12. You can do the washing and I'll dry, as long as I can the Tunnock's towel! I love Tunnock's caramel wafers, and a quilt using a Tunnock's towel would just be the icing on the cake for me.

  19. These are so cool - I also thought they'd be lovely just framed and hung up. But they'd make awesome tote bags too.
