Coming soon...

Well it's Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day/Week; I was caught totally unawares this time around and I am feeling a smudge guilty.  That said, there don't at quick glance seem to be very many giveaways on the go, so I am in good company.

I have therefore decided to do my own pre-Christmas giveaway next week for the, albeit few, folks who actually visit my blog, not unfamiliar the hoppers!  Harsh, but fair!

Does that sound like a good deal?  Of course you don't know what I am thinking of off-loading, so you may change your mind!

I have to get these off my FAL list somehow!!
Today though I almost finished my Christmas shopping, so thrilled, and spent the evening at Brownies doing colouring and Christmas crafty stuff, so thrilled that's over too!  I almost have time to spend on making the few presents I want to this year!

Have a good weekend peeps xxx

  3. I'm with you. I scrambled to pull some giveaway posts together since I had some items I'd been saving for Giveaway Day, but I didn't realize what was going on until I saw some prizes up for grabs on blogs I follow. I wish I had some more advance notice so I wouldn't be so late to the game. I like your theory; I may as well give away some things later to familiar friends who actually read my blog. You make your prize should pretty ominous, but I'm sure it'll be great.

  4. You've finished your Christmas shopping??!! What an awesome feeling that must be! I'd be happy if some folks here would just give me a few ideas for gifts. Maybe they'll all get patchwork pot holders. Ha! I like your idea of a pre-Christmas giveaway...I'll be watching!

  5. Well done you! Christmas shopping AND Christmas cards (guess how I know, thank you!) all sorted! I'm most excited that I've just got five days at work then three weeks off!!!!)

  6. I am always impressed when anyone finishes their Christmas shopping, I am just about done apart from my husband who is the most difficult person to sort out. The hexies are looking happy and bright. I have hardly no time for sewing at the minute partly because I am too tired after a day at work, but I really must get my hexie quilt done soon especially as I started it last year. x

  7. Gorgeous hexies, I'm still mostly ignoring the C word! I think bad planning on behalf of SMS only announcing it the day before! I'd assumed that there wouldn't be one and couldn't be bothered to do anything last minute!

  8. You're way ahead of me! But I'm really enjoying the Christmas process this year and I'm comfortable with the idea of whatever gets done is fine :)

  9. It also snuck up on me this time! I have to leave for a couple weeks and plan to do my own giveaway as well :)

  11. Sounds like a plan. I usually forget to do the SMS give away too. But then like you I thought it's nicer to give away to people that stick with the blog all the while and don't just stop by hoping to get some free swag.

  12. I may not leave comments very often but I am a faithful follower and think it's a great idea. I can't believe you've almost finished your shopping. I just got the tree up today and still haven't got the decorations on it. I am so far behind. I love your hexie's but I just can't get myself to stick with them so have to be satisfied with looking at what everyone else is doing. Love that blue print. Rina

  15. Yes I only spotted it yesterday 😃. Might spend some tome entering this afternoon if not too late. Then again I should write Christmas cards

  16. I did not have the time nor the inclination for the giveaway day. And in fairness I therefore have not gone to check it out and be tempted to enter anyone else's giveaways. Just the wrong time of year for it!

  17. I was looking out for Giveaway day, but there seems to be not much attention for it this year... I cannot even find the linky(s) so I may have missed it altogether, and I was planning to have my own lovely giveaway, too. I'll be rethinking my plan and organise something else, but probably after the busy time! Looking forward to what you'll be showing though, whether you give it away or not!
