No stitching today, not a lot of much really, except buying ice lollies and lying in the shade; the garden was slightly less stifling than anywhere else, well except the chilled aisle at Tesco, that was quite a nice place to be for a change!
So here's photo of my new case that I ordered and received earlier in the week with Retreat in mind...
Having done all my fabric-cutting and other prep a while back, I have that niggling feeling that I should be doing more, as quite frankly, a huge list is rather reassuring!
Well I hope you are maintaining a comfortable existence this weekend, and I will try to come up with something more exciting tomorrow xxx
Like the new bag, bet it's already packed you swot! :o) See you Friday. x
ReplyDeleteThat's a bit trendy Hadders. Where's your old lady trolley gone? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWill you get all those key fobs in there? Di x
ReplyDeleteI am onto my third bag, feck!
ReplyDeleteErk fabric cutting prep - I had forgotten I'd have to do that. Now I'm even less prepared than I thought I was! Love the new case x
ReplyDeleteI haven't even started packing yet. Slightly worried I'm going to get to Thurs night and start digging out the tesco/JS/Asda plastic bags....... :/ !!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat?! No bbq'd peacocks?
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling underprepared too for Retreat, but that's probably because I am! Love your new suitcase. I'm hoping to fit everything into a tiny trolley suitcase. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a most suitable case for all your stuff! I am going to figure out what to bring tomorrow, I got out my class list and see there are some items that I need to round up, you are clearly more organized.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather new to your blog, but may I just say that I mostly enjoyed all of the slang/talk in the comments. [giggling from across the pond]
ReplyDeleteLovely case, by the way! Have fun at your retreat!
lovely case, but are you sure all your project ingredients will fit?
ReplyDeleteLovely bag. I have Tuesday pm off work-that will be my prep time as I have family staying this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOoh, pretty!! Very modern quilty looking!
ReplyDeleteWow...nice case :)
ReplyDeleteI love that bag! I may just have to have one. You are quite the trendsetter! Enjoy retreat and think of us poor, envious Americans.
ReplyDeleteYou're traveling in style my dear! Hope you're staying cool. The chilly air has returned to Galway and it's (sadly) comforting.
ReplyDeleteYou'll certainly not lose it...
