A Lot More Sunshine...

... so a lot less crafting.

OK, so less might actually mean none at all, but I did get some books out of the library, so it at least it looks like I am in a sewing frame of mind.

The kids have spent most of the day in the paddling pool, (which makes it sound a lot grander than the 36" diameter inflatable it really is), and trying to master Swingball.

I have just been lying in the sun, pretending to be on holiday; I'm shattered!

  1. Looks like your library has a bit greater selection than ours. Try not to get roasted!

  2. Sounds like a hard day - I have been inside a boiling hot office all week and I see that the weather is set to break just when I break up!!

  12. Your library definitely better than mine with its rather antiquated selection of 1990s specials, I am intrigued by one line at a time- although it is reminding me of a Lena Martell song!

  13. I haven't been in our local library for years. Maybe I should if they have books like these. Last time I went in for quilting/craft one's it was all very 1980's but not in a cool retro way. More of a peach and blue, shades of brown colour way. :-)

  14. Glad you've got some sun. It's a boiling 99 degrees here and I'm covered up in boxes getting ready for our move next week but I'll survive! :)
That baby quilt book is a good one- I've checked that out from our library here before.
