And the Gold medal goes to...

... I'll tell you in a minute!

But first an enormous thank you for all your Olympic ideas - some of you truly have too much time on your hands!

I think there is a strong knitting contingent in our midst, with the FMQ team close behind!  I don't want to get into trouble with the IOC - Ravelry users (Ravelers?) will know all about that, so I think we should draw a quilted veil over this and look forward to the real thing!

And so Mr Random has spoken and picked...

And that, dear friends, is...

Madame Pings, time for a lap of honour!  The purse and book are all yours...

Thank you all again to all of you for your continued support and encouragement, I wouldn't be without any of you!

  1. Wooo hooo well done Sarah! Although Hadders I knew you shouldn't keep reminding everyone about the giveaway it ruined my chances ;-)

  2. Congratulations to Sarah. She's a lucky girl! :o)

  3. Yay!! So glad Sarah is getting such a lovely treat :-)

  4. Congrats to Sarah, think she needed a pick me up, so perfect timing :o)

  5. Lucky Mrs Pings! And I agree with her that threading a needle in bad light could well be an Olympic quilting sport of the future.

  6. Couldn't have been won by a nicer person. Congrats to Sarah. Di x

  7. Well done Sarah - I know this needle threading problem only too well.

  8. Yaaaaaay Me and Yay Hadders and all you lovely people xxx what a terrific win xx

  9. Aw, well done, Sarah! I'm sure you're going to love your book. The purse is adorable, Hadley!
