Having spent an hour with my manager making plans for the day, I immediately received a 'come and get her' call from school.
A turning blue-fainting funny turn after swimming meant a mad dash back, to find a more rosy and happy child, but getting the OK from the doctor, who gave her £1 to buy a cake, put my mind at rest. Skinny-minny children, outdoor swimming and cold rainy days don't go well!
Rainy days and school fayres don't go well either, guess I'll be doing the cleaning after school then x
Oh not again! And you can't even sit in the garden and stitch today. Not fair!
ReplyDeleteI hope you warmed her up under some quilts.
ReplyDeleteOutdoor swimming? - in July? - in the UK?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, glad the little one is okay again though - those kind of phonecalls make your heart stop, don't they?
Oh dear not what you needed :-(
ReplyDeleteOh hads that must have been one hell of a scare. Glad she's okay though.
ReplyDeleteSounds scary! Glad she's ok!
ReplyDeleteI'm so relieved she's OK...poor mite!
ReplyDeleteOh poor wee skinny minnie! Glad to hear she is ok now, and hope you are over the scare too :) x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fright! Glad she's ok now :) x
ReplyDeleteOh no! I always dread the school's number appearing on my phone! Glad she's doing ok now! Jxo
ReplyDeleteGlad she's ok! We had the school fete today too - I spent a couple of hours painting kids nails to raise money for the PTA. It was a crush inside though, silly rain!
ReplyDeleteGlad she's OK. Is that photo the result of playing on your ipad? Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletePoor thing, bit of TLC and (obviously) a cake is hopefully all she needs!
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely looking a bit blue! You are hysterical...
ReplyDeleteCake is a good cure all!
ReplyDeleteGlad she is okay now, poor little love x
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find such a doctor? Mine only asks for money!
ReplyDeleteDoes a cake a day keep the doctor away then?
