Today's tick off the list was the Cubs & Scouts carol service. As ever, it was a bit organisationally-challenged; all the packs had made painted jam-jar candle holders, the tea-lights were LED, for health and safety reasons, but I did hear at least 2 smash on the floor, hey ho ho ho!
Don't blink! |
So I am settling in for the Great British Sewing Bee Christmas special and writing a 'last minute' food shopping list, because the shops are shut for a whole day, and you know how we have to prepare as if they are going to be shut until New Year!
Ah so these days cubs can cut an artery open just not burn themselves to death? Fair dos.
ReplyDeleteEeek, didn't know there was a GBSB special, how do they sneak those things in? Will have to hit up iPlayer
ReplyDeleteSet the telly to record it! My local corner shop is run by Muslims so it's open Christmas and Easter - handy!
ReplyDeleteOh boo! I've missed the Christmas special.

ReplyDeleteLED tealights? That's a bit of a shame, but I'm sure it was all lovely! Wasn't the GBSB fab, made me want to make even more things :-)
