Just blowing through...

The kids went to the cinema with their Auntie and cousin this morning, there was just the small matter of the gale force-winds and horizontal rain to negotiate to get them to The Dome on Worthing seafront!

We took refuge in the Moshi/child-free zone of the M&S coffee shop and watched the world blow by.

If you have come here seeking stitchery, here's a little teaser...

I promise to get the sewing machine out soon, as I am more than aware that I am bringing you here under false pretences!

  1. I am glad no one blew away. The weather sounds bad in your parts. I expect that although it is cold here, it is nicer.

  4. Oooh, pretty hexies! I opted against venturing to the tip with the Ikea boxes today, I didn't fancy getting drenched while chasing them round half of Glasgow...

  11. Welcome to my world!! Worthing being my hometown I have been experiencing that gale for what seems like weeks!! We ended up the year with hail last night. Small but perfectly formed.
Great for hiding out in the sewing room though.
    Happy New Year

  12. We had heard of the terrible weather in UK on the news. Glad you didn't blow off the wharf and into the sea! Hope it's calmer over there now?
