The kids went back to school today, albeit not in uniform; by the looks of the field at pick up time, there had been a lot of snowman building! I went back to work, nothing at all exciting to report from there.
Highlight for me being the kids getting excited when they turned round, and the cloud had lifted for the first time in days, so they could actually see the Downs on the walk home...
Not exactly Alpine proportions, but they are our mountains.
I did do a little bit more of the #scrappytripalong binding last night, and now I only have about 60" left, so what am I doing here? I best get cracking!
Enjoy the final stretch of binding! How lovely to be able to see your mountains, I still can't see the sea...(Not from my house, I wish! I can usually see it when I'm walking Archie!)
ReplyDeleteMuch better mountains than we have here!!
ReplyDeleteMountains, bless... ;o)
ReplyDeleteI expect you have finished it now and we will have a big reveal tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow! We had snow falling for 10 minutes but the kids came home so excited telling me they went out in the yard trying to catch a snowflake with the tongue! It must have been great fun.
ReplyDeleteMine came home from school by lunchtime, not been anywhere in the car today, she has to go regardless tomorrow - exams! No snow day for the teenager despite the 5" or so!
ReplyDeleteMufti day? Or snow proof clothing? We were back to normal today, apart from keeping the little darlings in at playtime keeps them warm and dry, but high as kites! (ps, thanks for the iPad tip)
ReplyDeleteIt does look so pretty! I don't think I would like to venture down that icy road.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely, and that photo does make me think of skiing abroad, oh how i miss that fun! Enjoy the final bit of binding, it's one of my favourite bits of the whole process. : )
ReplyDeleteLovely shot H, we just got ice, although it said on the news that high ground got hit with snow.
ReplyDeleteyour roads are a lot clearer than ours. I have yet to try to get the car up the hill :-/
ReplyDeleteI love your mountains!! :-)
ReplyDeleteActually they do look like an alpine region as a lot of the homes in the pic are gable end facing. But now I'm craving swiss chocolate for some reason :-) Good luck with the binding.
ReplyDeleteGreat views, love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm late to comment, but know you are finished with the binding. I'm hoping the next post I read is the big reveal.
