July started so well but ended on a computer-induced downer. So lest we forget, here are my highlights of July...
My favourite make has to be my Brit Quilt Swap mini...
At least I get to enjoy it for August before sending it on ;)
Linking with Lynne and all the lovely peeps over at Fresh Sewing Day xxx
PS. Thank you for all your recent comments, please keep 'em coming. I am using my iPad to keep an eye on you all, but have found my patience seriously lacking and my hands not up to the job of typing lots on it; hopefully all will be well very soon).
I'm on my iPad right now, and yes, it's a PIA for actually commenting on blogs! I am digging that orange purse so much and your little mini is simply precious. I love that the triangle is askew and I'm such a sucker for fussy cutting.
ReplyDeleteI love that mini, maybe you should send it to me and make another for the swap. All your makes this month were wonderful even if you did kill your computer - perhaps it can be revived soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Hadley....as always. I love the orange purse too!
ReplyDeleteLove your purses! They are fantastic! A purse is on my "To Do Someday" list.
ReplyDeleteLove all those purses. Have you tried the dictate option on the iPad? Worth it, even if just for an activity for the children to see what they can make it write!
ReplyDeletehow cute! love hte frog checking everything out! - great work as always hadley!
ReplyDeleteAll stunning!! Love the frame purses and the mini is incredible :) Hope the computer is feeling better very soon! x
ReplyDeleteanother fab month!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job missus, that peeping frog is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteGreat month Hadley apart from the techie issues, hope they are resolved soon.x
ReplyDeleteGreat month despite the annoying techie issue. I hate commenting on the Ipatch, I lose my rag after about 2 minutes ;-)x
ReplyDeleteThat peeking frog makes me grin every time I see it :D
ReplyDeleteSee I knew there was a reason I have been resisting the purchase of an i thingy.
ReplyDeleteThat & the fact that I am broke LOL.
Seriously in LOVE with the froggy mini & jealous of the recipient. Maybe you should makes loads of them & we could all have one?? ;-)P
What is the name of the pattern you used? Or did you make it up yourself in EQ or some such??
Cheers
Lush
I can see why it will be difficult to give up your mini! Ribbit...!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of lovely purses! and I love prince charming in the triangle.
ReplyDeleteLovely makes as always Hadley :-) I so enjoy seeing what you make. Especial favourites are the ipad case and your brit quilt mini.
ReplyDeleteGreat month Hadley and I think the mini is my favourite too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and productive month, as usual! I agree that the frog is a fave, as is is the FMF purse. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLovely makes girlie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great month for you! Your purses are just stealing the show!
ReplyDeleteYou've had such a fab month! Brilliant stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love that mini! Hope your computer recovers soon x
ReplyDeleteP.S. I can't see your mosaic - I can get a brief glimpse of it in Google Reader but then the frog appears and the mosaic disappears...I suspect it's me as no-one else seems to be having a problem ;o)
Looks like you got a lot done! I am not a big fan of typing on my tablet either, so I totally understand! Your mini is stunning :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a wonderful month! My favorite is your MINI! and I love the FMF framed purse. Framed purses are on my list...if I ever get to them. So little time, so many fabulous things to make!
ReplyDeleteYour mini is so great and I've been wanting to make a framed purse. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteTis a cracking little mini :-) Hope your machine problems get sorted out soon lovely x
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe how much you manage to make - and in the school holidays too!
ReplyDeletehope your computer probs get sorted soon! your mini is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. love it and that FMF bag is to die for too. A great month! xxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great set of finishes for last month! Will be looking forward to seeing what you get up to this month =D
ReplyDeleteAnother truly lovely month of sewing! And the iPad - super handy for when the computer goes down (or for looking up how to fix things on the computer without losing your place in the help files with restarts, etc). It does a solid job for surfing and whatnot but can be so tedious to use for commenting...I tend to hunt&peck instead of properly type on the thing but I'm sure it'd be less so if I used it more (practiced.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bunch of finishes!!! Love the framed purses and i am using my ipad as we speak. Finally turned off the stinking auto-correct. It was always changing my words into things most strange!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, a lot of lovely finishes for miss Flying Blind
ReplyDeleteI love your mini - I would find it hard to pass on if it was mine! Maybe you can make another just for you.
ReplyDeleteGreat bags your making, also love some of the blocks you worked on this past month.
ReplyDeleteWow what progress. It all looks like so much fun, but I am going to have to track down your post on the ipad cover, I am wanting to make one of those :)
ReplyDeleteTime away from the computer was obviously time well spent... Love that Mini... Have you tried using a stylus for typing on the iPad? I find it speeds me up...
