Playing tag...

I have two cousins expecting babies in the next month, so I thought it was about time that I got myself a little organised; half-term has not been conducive to much sewing.

Making them both quilts just seemed too emotionally hard this time around, with everything that should have been happening in the coming months, but I still wanted to make a little something each.

So I went back to baby-basics and whipped up a couple of taggie squares...

These are 12" square, with cream dimple minky and some of the fun Japanese fabric I purchased from Dana's destash a week or so ago.  Each ribbon is quadruple stitched for security, and I think will be appreciated by the mummys and daddys and eventually the babies-to-be.

  1. Babies love those little squares. It is so much fun when they can grap it or just feel cosy and comfy putting their head on.
I hope it was not to hard for you. Your cousins will love this little gift

  11. I can't see them (no sign of a photo - bl**dy Blogger!) but I'm sure they're lovely, I'll come back later for a look! I made one for a friend's baby and she loved it so much I had to make a second one so the original could go in the wash!
