It's going to be fine...I hope!

I feel like my energy has been zapped completely this week.  Tomorrow I have the joy of an Inset Day and need to get the kids' rooms and playroom back to some semblance of tidy.  It is going to be a long, hard, thankless task, but I can't move in the house right now; and we won't be able to get from 'Birthday' to 'Christmas' mode without making space and having a clear out.

Wasn't going to leave you without a picture was I!?  Text charms...lovely!

This week's To Do list has got no shorter, and I am starting to worry a little.  Please bear with me!

I am hoping that this time tomorrow I will have cleared the decks and cleared my head a little so I can fall head-first into December with a smile.  Every year... oh you'd think I'd learn!

So if you are feeling a little overwhelmed right now, you are not alone xxx

  2. Ditto what Diane said above. This can be such a hectic time of year. We also have several birthdays just before Christmas (4 of them) and it is hard to find time to give them their proper attention.
    I'm loving the text charms!

  6. I know exactly how you feel, we just had a massive clear out because i was drowning in all the "stuff" in our house, and today i finished all of my panic jobs i needed to get finished before the end of the month, so now i can do some fun sewing. Not with my text charms yet though, they haven't arrived, and I'm getting a little worried, i hope they arrive tomorrow!! Hope you manage to relax a bit. : )

  7. Yup, I hear you. We are mid-way between swapping my sewing room for my daughter's bedroom with stuff of hers and mine all over the house. The entire project has stalled. I'm so fed up with piles of stuff!!!! Good luck. Hey, what's an "Inset Day"? Nice charms.

  8. I was wondering today if everyone is tidying up. I have been on a major tidy and reorganize, add shelves thing for the last two weeks. The end is not really in sight and things keep getting messed up to be tidied up. Hang in there, it will be fine.

  17. I dont think life changes any as the children get older, its just the 'seasons' change and business and chaos arrives in different ways...sorry to disappoint you. But I think you do an amazing job with all that you achieve. Love the text fabrics.

  18. I'd offer to come and help (I love a good sort out and tidy) but it's a bit far to travel...make a list and subdivide it into ten/twenty/thirty minute tasks (including some for the bairns - nothing like a giant tidy up to get them motivated, especially if there are sweeties at stake!) and then tackle it in bursts. And keep breathing!
