Wasn't going to leave you without a picture was I!? Text charms...lovely! |
This week's To Do list has got no shorter, and I am starting to worry a little. Please bear with me!
I am hoping that this time tomorrow I will have cleared the decks and cleared my head a little so I can fall head-first into December with a smile. Every year... oh you'd think I'd learn!
So if you are feeling a little overwhelmed right now, you are not alone xxx
DEEP BREATH... hold... release slowly xx REPEAT.... then...........RUN AT SPEED xxxxx
ReplyDeleteDitto what Diane said above. This can be such a hectic time of year. We also have several birthdays just before Christmas (4 of them) and it is hard to find time to give them their proper attention.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the text charms!
It will be fine! x
ReplyDeleteOh I'm totally with you on the energy-sappingness of the week, don't know what's up with it! Good luck with getting some semblance of order tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteSounds a bit like sick house syndrome, I'm sure that you will have it under control in no time.
ReplyDeleteOh it's the time of year! hope thinks perk up!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel, we just had a massive clear out because i was drowning in all the "stuff" in our house, and today i finished all of my panic jobs i needed to get finished before the end of the month, so now i can do some fun sewing. Not with my text charms yet though, they haven't arrived, and I'm getting a little worried, i hope they arrive tomorrow!! Hope you manage to relax a bit. : )
ReplyDeleteYou. Will do great!
ReplyDeleteYup, I hear you. We are mid-way between swapping my sewing room for my daughter's bedroom with stuff of hers and mine all over the house. The entire project has stalled. I'm so fed up with piles of stuff!!!! Good luck. Hey, what's an "Inset Day"? Nice charms.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering today if everyone is tidying up. I have been on a major tidy and reorganize, add shelves thing for the last two weeks. The end is not really in sight and things keep getting messed up to be tidied up. Hang in there, it will be fine.
ReplyDeleteHave LJ invite everyone round your house. Worked a treat in making me declutter, clean and all that stuff.
ReplyDeleteRetro flowers are looking fab, a great way to use DP blocks (dud you see Rainbow Hare's awesome fish?). I'm ver jealous of your text charms, if you need any more I have ome FQs that I can cut you ome charms from x x
ReplyDeleteOooh I hate tidying and cleaning but boy does it feel good when its done. Great charms Mrs, good luck with it today x
ReplyDeleteLovely charms.
ReplyDeleteKeep breathing and it'll get better.
aieeeee! Inset day? Why, for the love of all that is good and holy, have they got one in the middle of the term??? Remember to breathe xxx
ReplyDeleteyep I know the feeling!! the kids want the tree up tomorrow cause it is the first ! that means I need to gut the living room move my sewing table and other annoying stuff. we have the school Christmas fayre tonight ( which I hate as it is always way too busy) and countless other stuff going on :((
ReplyDeleteI will be deep breathing with ya!
xx
Think positive thoughts...you can do it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the cleaning :-) I take it the twins never took to Mary Poppins then?!
ReplyDeleteI dont think life changes any as the children get older, its just the 'seasons' change and business and chaos arrives in different ways...sorry to disappoint you. But I think you do an amazing job with all that you achieve. Love the text fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI'd offer to come and help (I love a good sort out and tidy) but it's a bit far to travel...make a list and subdivide it into ten/twenty/thirty minute tasks (including some for the bairns - nothing like a giant tidy up to get them motivated, especially if there are sweeties at stake!) and then tackle it in bursts. And keep breathing!
ReplyDeleteDoes something special happen in December? I'm in complete denial! Jxo
