If you have already made some of these blocks, see you tomorrow!
If you have seen other blog posts about these blocks and not made any yet, why not?
If you haven't heard of the appeal put out by the lovely Jennifer of Knotted Thread, then please check out her initial post and the flickr group and then stitch up a block or two, pretty please.

These 4 took me less that an hour from selecting the fabrics to final seam press. The tutorial to follow is nice and clear, and another method of making HSTs to add to my repertoire, bonus.
Are you still here? Shoo! You know what you have to do xxx
On the agenda for today!
ReplyDeleteNice post Hadley - your blocks are lovely and look great together. You could easily make a quilt top of these in an afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThank you. As one of Jennifer's helpers these blocks are so appreciated.
ReplyDeleteAlready done, might do a couple more today. Great post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for spreading the word! I have already made and given three baby quilts to families in my town that have lost it all. The clean up has begun.
ReplyDeleteOn my list for this week, ma'am!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you said something! I had not heard of this, but am hopping over to KT right now. The electricity was just turned back on in my home house. They're happy to have it back!
ReplyDeleteI've not got to it yet 'cos I'm only just home ;o) Just catching up, and love what you've been up to, but a tad confused as I had Danny's strip to do next and then Helen's, did you miss one?
ReplyDeleteI got the info from the 4x5 Modern Quilting Bee ladies, and everybody should do some. They are so easy and fun to put together. I had to stop myself after five, so I can get them in the mail!
ReplyDeleteWill try my best.
ReplyDeleteOff to check out the details. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you Hadley! I appreciate both the post and you helping out! :) :)
ReplyDeleteWill check it out. Even I can do this from here in sunny NZ!
ReplyDeleteBah, I read about these blocks, but by the time I get to the sewing machine I've forgotten all about my good intentions - keep nagging / reminding!
ReplyDeletethis is such a great cause! xo
