Then before the twelfth gong, myself and it seems like many others sprang into action and purchased one of these...
Next July! I don't think I have planned that far ahead since my wedding!
So, I have to ask, are you coming to Retreat II?
I promise I will try to keep quiet about it until about Easter-time, because not going to Sewing Summit, I have
No.....I'm going off to my quiet, remote corner of Australia to sulk.......
ReplyDeleteOh yes I was ready to pounce at midday too. Could you put the counter widget on your blog again? I loved checking out how close it was. Di x
ReplyDeleteI'm sulking with Susan - well not with with her as if I can't get to London I can't freaking make it to her 'remote corner of Australia'!
ReplyDeleteI'm not going. At least, not for the moment :-(
ReplyDeletenot going after spending £750 on MOT and service tuesday...........where do they pluck these costs from ..........so i will be watching from the side lines but i am happy for all the ones going :)))
ReplyDeleteI'm not going either :-((( But happy you are! :-D
ReplyDelete*sniff* no, I'm not going either :-( Although I promised myself I would, I just can't justify the costs at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you're coming but bummed for those that can't. I really enjoyed the build up last year but as one of only five 'regular brit quilters' that weren't going it did get a bit tedious when every swap and every other blog post was centred on something I couldn't get involved with. That said I will try not to be like a hyper six year old between now and next July but may fail miserably ;-s
ReplyDeleteNope count me out. I will also be stuck in my tiny little bit of the country side in Australia. But hey have fun with out me.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm going. I'll try and keep the build up to less than the SS one, promise!
ReplyDeleteYes I am going too! This is way more in advance than I planned my wedding - we went from engaged to married in 4 months (although, as my mother was keen to point out to everybody "there isn't any immediate NEED for them to get married so quickly, you understand....")
ReplyDeleteIf you can find me a rich husband before the tickets are all sold out I'm going. No seriously it's too bloody expensive this year! I'll be sitting here quietly weeping while you lot have fun - poo :(
ReplyDeleteI'm also joining everybody in the sulking corner.
ReplyDeleteHappy for you, really I am.... Ok trying to be.
Joking, of course I am. Just in a bit of a green way.
I should be going :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going and had a nightmare time to get back to buy my ticket just after 12 uk time :) we can't build it up too much, 37 weeks is too long to bore people with...or is it :)
ReplyDeleteis this better now ???
DeleteI have a ticket, and now just have to plot out the rest of the logistics. I am sad about those who might be staying home but am hopeful that they will sign up later on.
ReplyDeleteEvery one is getting a ticket....I am going to buy one too. hope there is one left for me!
ReplyDeleteNot sure it will be the same without those MIA! : (
ReplyDeleteHooray, I'm going booked it yesterday afternoon as I was out, couldn't settle I was so excited to get back and book it!! Ange x
ReplyDeleteI'm going - as I watched from the side lines last year. Though I would be willing to go to Australia instead.
ReplyDeleteI'm going and I am bummed that a few of my Favorite people will not be going...but so excited to meet all whom I have been stalking for a few years now.
ReplyDeleteYour Saturday morning sounds like mine! I'm going!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll go to the sulking corner too. My hubby said I could go until he heard it was in London. Then he took it back. Said something about wanting to re-tile our house instead...
ReplyDeleteI think many people had very similar Saturdays. I know I did. It's very sad to see that some people can't come but hopefully they will be able to go the following year :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm in! I'm in! I'm going to scream from the (freezing, raining) mountain tops. I can't wait to see you all.
ReplyDeleteI won't be going either, but yay for everyone that is!!
ReplyDeleteAw I'm really sad for those that aren't coming, will really miss them, I was on and off for weeks, even yesterday mornjng i wasnt sure! but my husband forced me to buy the ticket.....guess he wanted some justification for me selling all out things to get the money together!!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like I'll make it this year - I'm shopping for a home so I'm assuming a mortgage will eat my budget and render international travel a vague dream of an idea rather than a possibility but if I win the lottery...!
ReplyDeleteJust finished catching up (took a two month break) and you have been busy! I love your retro flowers - I haven't managed to master curves yet (even with the pattern-recommended foot). Your colour choices are just so lovely. I too bought High Flying Birds and put my fingers in my eyes at the closing ceremonies when Liam started singing. Totally Team Noel over here. :-)
You must have enjoyed the first one, lol, well done for getting a ticket
ReplyDeleteI am going. After the nightmare of carrying my sewing machine across London last year I am staying at the Grange Strathmore, despite living only a few miles away from the venue ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm just going off to sulk in the opposite corner of Australia ! I wish London was closer . I love London .
ReplyDeleteWhy YES, YES, I did. You and I can rub noses.
ReplyDeleteMe too... i'm in.. Had such fun last year.... Am trying to Keep Calm about it until about May... will that do it do you think?
ReplyDeletenoses rubbed is right! xo ;)
ReplyDeleteoh I'm dying to go next year, it looked so much fun! I've just heard about the installment payments system they've set up so I may just be able to stretch the budget now! Hi from your newest follower too!
ReplyDeleteJessie, xo
